I introduced myself a while back, we were moving to the Rocklin area and I needed recommendations for where to look for housing. We wound up in between Lincoln and Auburn, kinda out in the country, about 15 miles from Rocklin.

So I have been lurking a bit and now I'm coming out as a newb here. Hi!

TTC: If you?re drinking red raspberry leaf tea, how often and how much are you drinking? Do you have any suggestions for making it taste good?

1st trimester: Did you do the quad screen? Did the added component make a difference in the result?

2nd trimester: If you?re pregnant with #2 (or more) will #2 share a room with #1?

3rd trimester: Did anyone experience pre-eclampsia? Did you have to be put on bedrest?

Miscarriage related: Would you send flowers?

Friends of ours just had a miscarriage. At 16 weeks -- is that unusual? Would flowers be appropriate? When I first suggested it, dh expressed some discomfort because he didn't feel like it was public knowledge yet, but maybe after a few days? Clearly, I have no clue what would be appropriate in this situation.

I saw in your other post that you were researching flooring. Did you happen to run across a good catch-all site that describes all kinds of flooring? We're going to be redoing our kitchen floor and likely ripping up carpet in some of our rooms and I just feel so clueless about the options. The gals on the decorating board keep mentioning things I've never heard of.

I had a really relaxed weekend so I took the time to watch a bunch of movies. I watched for the first time Time Traveler's Wife-OMG cried my freaken eyes out the whole last hour. Good movie but I don't rec watching while PMS..haha

I also watched Pride and Prejudice..I am usually into more action so I thought it was okay..

The perfect Getaway-Suspense movie that I liked, but it was a little predictable for me. H really likes the girl that is is it but kind of a disappointment.

Percy Jackson lightning thief-When I saw the previews to this I thought "omg they need to let go of the harry potter theme" BUT it was actually pretty good movie. Nothing to write home about but winner in my book

My sister and I was talking about things to do around SF, San Jose, etc. She mentioned going to the beach and being in Marin county. Except she pronounced it "MARE-IN." I looked at her and said, "Do you mean "MAR-IN"? She looked at me with this, "Are you serious?!?!"

I said yeah, try pronouncing Tuolumne or Suisun.

I actually told her that I pronounced it wrong the first 4 years I lived here until DH corrected me last year. She has only lived here 6 months so she has an excuse.

OK, so I finished the movie last night. Have you guys seen it? Major spoilers ahead.

Obviously, some things are very different from the book. But of course, my memory is crap, so I can't remember. In the book, didn't he get Lang on tape admitting to what he'd done? I thought he did, but in the movie he didn't. And the writer wasn't killed in the book, right? I can't remember how the book ended once they were back in London.

What did you think of Pierce Brosnan as the prime minister? I didn't buy it. He didn't seem as charming as Lang was supposed to be. Maybe it's just because I pictured someone totally different in my head. We were going through negotiations for a new contract while I was reading this and I kept picturing the company attorney - stern, but old and with a bit of a blubbery face - as Lang.

Aerial Yoga in San Francisco?

Does anyone know about tissu/aerial silk climbing/sorry if this is the incorrect term/please advise :-) While visiting LA last week I went to a class with a friend that sounded like normal aerial yoga, but it turned out to be a nice russian former acrobat teaching a yoga class during the first half, and then silk climbing/yoga modified for this art form in the second half. I'll try to post a link to the silk part below, but has anyone has any luck with finding a nice studio for aerial around SF? I'm travelling there with my family in two weeks and would love to get some of us into an aerial class. Thanks in advance!
