  • I have to take some courses starting in January for my teaching certificate to remain active. I have decided that I am going to start a masters program in the spring. There are two I'm interested and they have a program to do them concurrently. I just need to see if the district will reimburse for the library sciences program. They can be kind of selective as far as what is considered relevant to our teaching position. Our other big goal is to pay off credit card debt and eventually have no payments except utilities and the mortgage. We would also like to buy the other half of our house when the neighbors decide to move or they pass away.

  • I have some goals, not sure if they will change or not.

    2. loose more weight (I am going to try to loose more weight when I am done BF)

    3. take MBA classes (this would be in 10 years or so :-))

    4. feel more financially secure. we need to up our incomes. i want to pay off more debt, save more, be able to afford to do more, and maybe even some home improvements.

    5. do more gardening. hopefully I will be able to do more next year.

  • Find a teaching job, pay off my student loans, and learn to save money better.
  • A lot of my answer is similar to @ILoveRedVino. Our biggest goal is a family, whatever form that comes in. Although other goals would be to continue and eventually achieve my goal health, travel everywhere on our list, and to see my company create a groundbreaking life-saving drug.

  • Yeah, my answer is similar to @ILoveRedVino, too. TTC is really our only goal right now, and it has clouded over any other goals we have. Sure, we want to travel a lot more (we have a list), but there are so many trips we've put off in hopes that we'd be taking kids to these places. Yes, paying off our mortgage is a goal, but our hearts ache when we look at the empty rooms that should be filled with a child's laughter.

A short-term goal I have right now is to gain a continuing contract this year (I'm up for it).

  • 1) Help DH pay off his cc and student loans (we got my cc paid off back in May).
    2) Pay off my car (only around $3000 to go!).
    3) Get some home improvements done, namely giving the kitchen a big facelift, redecorating/painting the bedroom, and replacing the tub.
    4) Continue to be amazing at work.
    5) Help/support DH find a job he can be happy in (he's miserable in his current job).
