Quick Update

We scheduled my inducement appointment for September 19th at 8pm.

They suggest I have ST to maybe get things going but DH is super freaked out to try. Lol. She also said to try acupuncture and gave me a referral so I will be giving them a call to schedule something to see if that gets things going.

If not, right now our only plan is inducement.

I hope she decides to come on her own but I'm glad you've got an eviction plan in place, just in case.

Hopefully your DH will get over his fears and at least try ST to get things going. Maybe TMI, but doggie style may be a good one to try since he won't be able to see your belly. Maybe that'll help him get over it.

What the other girls have already said - I hope she comes on her own sooner but nice to have a finish line for sure.

@madeline10L, she didn't check me again because she said she didn't think it changed from yesterday since I'm not feeling the contractions.

@sgautschi, I don't think the belly bothers him. I think it's more of a "he's scared of hurting her" kinda thing.

So on the 19th they will insert a pill in my vjay and they said the pill is basically pig sperm (ew) so she said ST will help because of his sperm. They definitely want me to orgasm and honestly I can't orgasm doggy style :-/ I'm gonna talk to him tonight and if he's not up for it, I might rape him. Lol

I'm just glad that we have a date set but I do hope she picks her own birthday.

@Bridget I think that rape would be considered acceptable in this case. Lol

I'm pretty much only able to do doggie style or cowgirl anymore. Ive never wanted to be able to do missionary so much in my life! lol Doggie style always brings on contractions for me though, even if I don't get the big O. Although I usually finish up on my own afterwards, so I think as long as you orgasm around the same time as sex, that should be fine. Good luck girl!

Doggie style was the only way we could do itat the end. We did it that way for the benefit of getting his swimmers there bit we used our little buzzer to get to O since it was not happening during sex.

I am glad to see you have an end date and good luck getting baby here on her own!

The main benefit of sex is the spermies but O'ing can help bring on contractions so it is good for both things the spermies loosening things up and the O to get contractions going.

I hope she decides to come on her own before then. But if not, I had a very good induction experience.

Some things I tried to get things moving- walking, sitting/bouncing on an exercise ball, eating lots of pineapple (this did start contractions but they fizzled out), spicy food, getting a pedicure (fun even if it didn't do anything), sex.

Yes, what wiggy said. And you don't have to O during sex. You can have DH help you out, or do it yourself either before or after sex.

@madeline10L, she said I can just play with myself because even O'ing can help. I don't know really but she said make sure to O and that his sperm would help altogether. She said to also play with my nipples because it can help.

She said O'ing releases a hormone that helps go into labor as well as sperm and that together it's a better chance. But yeah I imagine just as long as you O before or after DH finishing it can help.

Glad you have an end in sight! I don't know if this actually did anything, butI ate a lot of pineapple core two days before I went into labor. Couldn't hurt.

I will try anything.

I have eaten spicy food the whole time so its nothing new. I don't have a ball but I am planning on taking advantage of DH when he gets home and also it's rainy out so can't go walking but I plan on going to the mall tomorrow and walking all I can. Some lady also told my mom tea (green tea I think) would help, so tomorrow I will be on a mission.

MP has been coming out but not bloody so I'm not getting excited but I'm glad something is going on.
