May's birthstone is emerald, which is awesome because I love the look of the emerald. However, my troll bracelet has birthstones for my husband, R and I. When I add the May birthstone it's going to look like two kinds of Christmas! January is garnet (deep red) and the emerald and then I have a different style for my husband's august birthday (a light green color) and my birthday in July which is the ruby, a lighter shade of red. Too bad we couldn't have had an April and had excuses for buying diamonds!

Maybe you'll go early or late and have diamonds or pearls!  You're in the middle of the month, though, right?  I guess it's a long shot...

The 21st. I won't go that early and the dr probably will want to schedule a RCS. My guess is that the RCS will be scheduled for the 15th but I'll hope to go a few days before that.

That is kind of random that you ended up with both greens and both reds! DH and I arethe two greens (emerald for me and peridot for DH) but Ava Nichol got my ffavorite so now I have an excuse to buy/get all the aquamarine jewelry I want.

If this one is a girl the kids will be opposite of us too. It's just too coincidental.

October has two birthstones. Apparently opal was the original stone and in the 50's they added tourmaline. I like tourmaline better but wish it were the more official choice. Oh well.

I love October. Lucky me that my girl was born in my favorite month but I've never been fond of the birthstone, Opal. But like you said they added tourmaline and it can be pink. So my funny is that my daughter has a pink birthstone and the boy will be born in December, which is blue.

I like that tourmaline is an option because I'm not a huge fan of opal either. I'm just a little annoyed that you can technically use either stone and technically any shade of tourmaline. It seems wishy washy.

Apparently December has 3. Tanzanite, which I totally dig, is a fairly new addition. I don't know how these additions happen. But OP, I dig the colors you'll be rockin on your bracelet.

LB March is aquamarine, which is a light brilliant like blue.

March is aquamarine. Which is a really pale blue. I aquamarine (my birthstone).

My son's is amethyst (February), and DH is ruby (July).
