Favorite toy growing up: It depends...I had my Barbies and My Little Ponies.  I loved both!

Do you still own said toy? No

Where was you and DH's first date? We went out to eat at Blue Mesa and then went and saw a movie.  We saw I am Legend.

Something completely random, go!: We had a free Redbox rental, so we rented After Earth last night.  Parts of it totally made me cry too!  Even though it wasn't like the best movie ever or anything.

Where is your favorite place to shop (clothes/food/stuff/whatever)? I love the Limited for clothes.  Kroger/Aldi for food.  For random stuff for the house I love World Market and Kohls.

Favorite toy growing up: Barbies. Hands down.

Do you still own said toy? No. Sad face. I wish I did but we sold them all at a yard sale when I was in high school.

Where was you and DH's first date? Flogging Molly concert at the Electric Factory in Philly. It was awesome!

Something completely random, go!: I want to make cocoa krispie rice cereal treats for the Halloween party we're going to Friday. But I want them to be super fun and I'm blanking on ways to liven them up!

Where is your favorite place to shop (clothes/food/stuff/whatever)? Disney Store for all sorts of fun stuff (tshirts, hoodies, fun house stuff), Yankee Candle as I have an addiction, and Hallmark.

Where was you and DH's first date? I honestly don't know... possibly a movie?

Something completely random, go!: Cinnamon Apple Spice Celestial tea is amazing. Add a little stevia and it's zero guilt apple cider!

Where is your favorite place to shop (clothes/food/stuff/whatever)? I'm actually not much of a shopper in general, but I could spend hours in a yarn boutique here.

Favorite toy growing up: My doll named Jenny.

Do you still own said toy? My parents have her at their house.

Where was you and DH's first date? It was a "home date." Since I was only 15 and couldn't actually go out somewhere on a date till I was 16. So we rented a couple of movies, picked up a pizza, and got Dairy Queen blizzards. Brought all of it back to my parents house and had out first date.

Something completely random, go!: I really like those suckers that are on the stick with the hole in the middle. Then when the sucker is gone, I can be annoying and whistle through the stick.

Where is your favorite place to shop (clothes/food/stuff/whatever)? Maurices and NY&Co for clothes. Food would be Hyvee. Stuff/whatever would definitely be Target. I can get lost in there for hours.

@islandmonkey8 Don't they make Halloween colored Rice Crispies?  You could make them out of that.  Otherwise you could add a package of Halloween sprinkles to the mix. Whalah!

I think they do. But we already have the cocoa krispies. I'm kinda being cheap about it. Sprinkles are a good idea though!

I think I'm making the marshmallows from scratch because you can't beat homemade marshmallows.

Where was you and DH's first date? We went to see Practical Magic in theaters. Yes, our very first date was that long ago.

Something completely random, go!: I think I'm stopping at Wendy's on the way back from Zoey's vet check-up. I've been having a serious hankering for fries.

Where is your favorite place to shop (clothes/food/stuff/whatever)? I adore Target for as much as I can possibly get there. I also looooove Home Goods and DSW.

No..  I don't think I had that past HS. I think it broke.

Where was you and DH's first date?
TGI Fridays.  He made me pick.  My most recent ex-boyfriend and I went there after his Rec Hockey games each week, and had made friends with the bartenders.  In other words, definitely the exact wrong first date location, or so 'they' say. We also discussed his failed engagement, my previous long-term relationship (and it's financial baggage), our families, and religion.

Something completely random, go!:
I got an email from my boss at the rink, and since I haven't worked in forever (like, in 2013), they are removing me from the employee list. I guess I should have worked one of those shifts instead of always finding coverage. My co-workers are going to be bummed! A couple of them count on me giving them extra shifts.

 

I guess i should also return my keys.

 

I refuse to change my screen name, though.  Who cares if now I have to say I used to drive a zamboni!

@brij2006 - I got it! Caramel/Rum/Cocoa Krispie Marshmallow treats! I can add fun sprinkles or cut them into Halloween shapes if I'm up for it.

Now I want these to eat.

Favorite toy growing up:  My Little Pony!! 

Do you still own said toy?:  My Mom still has some of them at home, my nieces play with them.

Where was you and DH's first date?:  We went to a sports bar.  Were supposed to be going to a baseball game.  We went early to watch the Laker game, they were in the playoffs.  We hung out,  never made it to the ballgame.  Awesome great time.

Favorite toy growing up: Oh man.. hard to pick a favorite. All time fave was probably a tie between Barbies, Pound Puppies, and My Little Ponies.

Do you still own said toy? I know there are a bunch of them up in the attic at my parents. I should dig them out someday.

Where was you and DH's first date? No idea... we don't know what our first "official" first date really was.

Something completely random, go!: I met the Duggars this past weekend. They are some of the most authentic, kindest people I've ever met!

Where is your favorite place to shop (clothes/food/stuff/whatever)? clothes - local boutique shop thing, food - central market, stuff/whatever - world market.

Favorite toy growing up: These little toy horses.  I had hundreds of them and each one was a different breed of horse.

Where was you and DH's first date? The Haight - Ashburry district of San Francisco.  We went for dinner drinks and a movie.

Where is your favorite place to shop (clothes/food/stuff/whatever)? I don't discriminate, I'll shop anywhere.  From thrift shops to Neiman Marcus... I just like to shop. I probably actually go to TJ MAXX more than any other clothes store at the moment.

Where was you and DH's first date? We were in college,  so it was a movie (I think it was V for Vendetta, but I'm not sure) and Ruby Tuesdays to eat. Def not 5 star, but was better than the dining hall lol

Something completely random, go!: I started up my 5 day workout routine again and my legs are ridiculously sore to the point that I'm walking like an old lady.

Where is your favorite place to shop (clothes/food/stuff/whatever)? Target for almost everything but I do like Express and the Gap when I want to splurge on clothes.

Where was you and DH's first date? My apartment.  He lived in MA, I lived in NJ, and he stopped by for about 20 minutes on his was back from FL (luckily I lived right off the highway). He kept saying he was gonna stop by, but I didn't believe him until he was there (although I did set an alarm for some ridiculously early hour to throw on some "I want to look like I just work up and am not wearing make-up make-up" just in case). He brought me a few really sweet gifts, we talked for a bit, had our first kiss, and then he had to hit the road again.  We were "official" a few weeks later.

Something completely random, go!: I have no idea what o get DH for Christmas!

Where is your favorite place to shop (clothes/food/stuff/whatever)? UniqueVintage and ModCloth for clothes, Homegoods for random stuff I hardly ever need.

After sitting at the vet office for an hour, I went ahead and treated myself on the way home. Let's just say those Pretzel Pub Chicken sandwiches are all the commercials make them out to be and more! So worth it!

Ya, It a weird hobby.  I was on a week long camping trip with a woman who could do it.  She handed me the practice poi on the first day and told me if I learned how to spin them really well by the end of the trip she would set me up with actual fire poi.  Long story short, 2 weeks later I was fire dancing.  I did it pretty regularly for about 4 years straight.

I should get more practice poi, it's really a great arm workout.

Something completely random, go!: DH brought home a beautiful arrangement of flowers last week "for no reason" except that I had "let" him play golf all weekend. I started crying; they were so beautiful, and he never does stuff like this.

Where is your favorite place to shop (clothes/food/stuff/whatever)? I love Banana Republic for clothes, Whole Foods (when I can get there) for food, and Michael's for whatever. I can always find something in Michael's.

PIP a funny! This is going to be huge, but it's worth it.
