Okay so somebody please tell me and be honest....does my kid look like Boo from Monster's Inc? I am beings self conscious about it because we went to the community party on Saturday and nobody said anything of course I think she is adorable but I need an honest opinion....would you get it without me telling you?

It doesn't help that she hates the costume and won't wear the hood. I tried to tell my mom that she wouldn't like it but she insisted on making it for her.

Thanks I was thinking maybe people just 1. Weren't very friendly and 2. Didn't get the reference since the new Monsters Inc doesn't have Boo.

I knew who she was, but I own Monster's Inc. If someone hasn't seen the original movie they probably wouldn't know what the character was.

Yeah I showed DH's grandparents pictured of Boo from Google so they will get the reference when we go over there tonight I knew they wouldn't have seen the movie.

She looks like boo. That said, you told me in advance and I just watched the movie the other day. I think in the pic with hood up she looks a little like she's bein swallowed by a big purple fish. That would also be an awesome costume. Tell your H to put on a blue furry hoodie and you'll really be in business.

I tried to convince him to dress up but no luck and thanks for your honesty. I think people need to be pretty familiar with the character to get the costume. I figured it would work out okay because we get told (by strangers) almost daily that she looks like boo or that little girl from the monster movie haha

honestly I have no idea who Boo is and i've never seen a Monster movie, but she is beyond adorable and I loved her costume

This is Boo. She is from Monster Inc. She is adorable. Her real name is Mary, but monster Sulley called her Boo. (Yes, I love this movie a little too much)
