Did everyone survive?

How was everyone's Thanksgiving? I sent many positive "no baby questions" vibes out into the world! 

I only went to the bathroom once to cry (not ugly cry, phew) when DH's grandma had to show me this beautiful blanket a friend of hers knitted for our new nephew. That one hurt, a lot. His grandma does know that we've been having a lot of trouble and seeing doctors. I don't think she knows about IVF. I think MIL (surprisingly) said something to her when I excused myself because the blanket was nowhere to be seen when I returned.

I got sick with a bug yesterday, so I spent the day at home sleeping, throwing up, and having a fever. I'm doing okay today, but I still feel crummy. I might go see my parents later if I'm feeling up for it, but that may wait until tomorrow.

I woke up early Thanksgiving morning in such a good mood, signed onto facebook and the first thing that popped up was a girl my age who just got married posting a picture of her U/S saying "this is what I have to be thankful for, how about you?"

I signed off FB for the rest of the day and didn't go back on until a had 2 glasses of wine.

Other than that! mine was great!!

@transponster - I hope you feel better!! That is the worst bug ever!

Other than my SIL refusing to let my nephews come to Thanksgiving because she's mad at me, Thanksgiving was just as wonderful as it always was. 

Too bad it sucked hardcore for my brother, who had to explain to everyone in my family, why his children weren't there.

I ended up outside crying. But DH came out and talked to me and made things a little better. But other than that it wasn't too bad. I was ready for bed by 5:30 last night

Mine was decent. My family is on a cruise so we spent it with my in laws which is always hectic but it wasn't too bad. Neither of us like thanksgiving much so we are talking about skipping it next year or doing something with just us rather than the usual big family function.

It was good.  Had fun with both families.  So happy and thankful I love my inlaws...  Saw the new baby and oh, of course his entire side asking when we were having kids...  Same ol same ol...  Lol

Unfortunately yesterday would have been one of my due dates. Other than that though, it was pretty good. I ate some yummy food and drank beer. I also had a very good conversation with my brother about our future adoption plans and he was super kind and supportive.

My DH and I went to his grandparents for desert on Thanksgiving. He has a huge family so it's something they do every year.

Were all in the big family room chatting and his one uncle who was drunk bursts out "so I hear you're pregnant Nikki" and I got wide eyed and said "not that I know of" and he goes "you are I can tell." My DH walked in and he was like "did you know your wife is pregnant?" My poor DH looked at me and said "I think id know if she was" and laughed it off and got him off the subject.

There were at least 15 other people in the room. I was so upset. I held back my tears until I was in the car. I seriously hate the holidays.
