No symptoms?

I know it's still early and I shouldn't compare my last pregnancy with this pregnancy, but I haven't had any symptoms other than slight bloating and a missed period. I did feel a little nauseous yesterday, but I think I ate too much. By this time last pregnancy, I had extreme back ache and really sore boobs.

Did anyone else have barely any symptoms early on. BTW, I'm only 5 weeks. I think I'm just being overly cautious.

Re: No symptoms?

  • I didn't really have any symptoms, but all the other girls said they typically start at like 6 weeks. but FX you don't get any!!
  • It's still pretty early to have symptoms.  I wouldn't worry about it!

  • My symptoms didn't really start until 6 weeks. Before that they were the normal period symptoms like tender boobs and cramps.

  • Nausea hit me at 6 weeks, the only thin I had before that was fatigue. I felt great from 4-5 weeks though.

  • I felt great from 4-5 weeks, other than huge and sore boobs. Then the nausea and fatigue hit and stayed from 6 weeks until it started becoming more manageable at about 10 weeks. Totally normal! If you check out most BMBs on the Bump, you'll see about five of these posts a day. It's a lot easier to dismiss/not worry about these things when it's not your pregnancy, that's for sure! (Fellow worrier here :) )

  • The only symptom I had was sore boobs and that was it. I understand it's easy to worry (I did too) but enjoy being symptom free while you can because you never know when nausea and morning sickness will strike.

  • Thanks again girls. I really appreciate the feedback. I won't worry and I'll keep my FX that my symptoms are easy on me lol.

  • Just some very tender boobs up until 6 weeks. This past week I've had very mild queasiness a handful of times.

I'm right there with you overanalyzing and worrying. I'd much rather have the symptoms and be sort of miserable than feel perfectly fine.

  • Nothing here really. No morning sickness at any point. Only slight food aversion for about a week around 9-10weeks. Some acne a little later which has cleared. But seriously, not everyone has morning sickness, it's not worth worrying yourself over. Or it may just come later. Enjoy being pregnant and still feeling good :-). (But it took me awhile to embrace that, so it'll happen on your own time). GL!

I didn't have very many symptoms early on. Even now, my symptoms have been pretty mild. The fatigue didn't start hardcore until like 9 weeks for me. Never really had crazy nausea, only if I didn't eat for a long time. I would enjoy it, you never know when they might start (and I know this is easier said than done because I asked my doctor if it was normal when I saw him at 8 wks ).

  • The day I found out I was PG, I was having coffee and the smell of it almost made me vomit. Then sore boobs, light cramping, and some nausea here and there, but nothing too crazy. Last week, I wasn't feeling too many symptoms other than those, but now all day I've been feeling nausea....not to the point where I actually get sick, but enough to make me wish that I was at home laying down. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse....if it stays like this, I can manage it just fine....
  • Only thing that hit me before 8 weeks was painfully sensitive nipples. No nausea, bloat, weight gain, nothing until early 8 weeks.

Fatigue didn't start until about 10-11 weeks (and then I was down for the count until 23 weeks lol).

  • I really have not had that many symptoms my entire pregnancy.  I never had morning sickness or anything.  Mostly I just felt really tired and that wasn't right away either.

Nope, definitely not. I'm convinced that this is just to give you practice for when the kids do come because you'll be worrying all the time after they're born too :P
