If you had the extra money and could pick one and ONLY one, which would you choose to hire

Re: CPW: who would you hire?

  • Housekeeper hands down!!! I hate cleaning more than anything and I hate cleaning up after DH. I like doing my own errands, I'm convinced I'm a better driver than most people(cocky much?), everything else I do on my own or DH does it.

  • I would 100% get a chef. I love cooking, but I just feel like I have no time to figure it all out right now. I just want someone to make my meals and snacks and then when I get a handle on life, I'll take over and then hire a personal trainer. lol

  • Housekeeper is a VERY close second for me, but what we really need is someone to do yard maintenance. DH is supposed to take care of that stuff, and he honestly kind of sucks at it. We end up with leaves piled in the driveway all winter because he never raked them and old dead plant stems from the previous year's flowers that never get yanked, not to mention all the shit that the pine tree in the front yard sheds (lost a ton of branches with the snow/ice storms this winter, and while DH finally moved the big stuff to the backyard, all the little crap is still scattered over the front). And don't get me started on our grass...we can't keep grass growing well. It's a patchy mess.

  • From the list, I would choose a housekeeper, BUT a lawn service is also a need/want for us. We both HATE yard work, and I can't stand bugs/dirt, etc. so it would be an ideal situation to have someone take care of the yard for us. We don't need any fancy landscaping, just general maintenance.

  • I said housekeeper, but after reading the comments, I think I'm throwing my vote behind yard maintenance. DH doesn't like me to do it, but he doesn't keep up with it at.all so I wind up nagging him and then neither of us is happy.

  • Masseuse! That would be so worth it. A super close second after reading comments is someone to do yard maintenance... Neither of us are motivated to do more than take leaves or mow but our flower gardens are really sad and the grass could use some tending to.

  • I picked a Masseuse! I would love to have a massage anytime I wanted. House cleaner, nah, I have gotten a few and I just feel like I clean better, so I would rather not have one. Personal chef, that would be pretty cool, I do like to cook, but I do enjoy cooking and I think I am pretty darn good. :) Masseuse ahhhh, now I need to go get a massage.
