Snowed In.

Well. Old man winter finally decided to rear his ugly head. We have had nonstop snow since Sunday, and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. Lucky for me, I only work one day this week and its on a day where we are in between storms. I took three days off to just relax and start getting ahead on schoolwork. I have two weeks of vacation that renewed at the beginning of the year. Yeah, my company pays me out for any unused days when I stop working. It's nice to use some of them though. Especially since it's getting really tough to be on my feet all day in a fast paced environment.

I have no desire to go anywhere in this mess with my tiny little car. As a result, I am also trying to get some stuff done with baby stuff. I finalized my registry and plan on working on getting the nursery organized, washing the clothes that we have so far, hanging up some artwork my sister and I have made, etc. etc.

Doctor officially put me on extra iron pills. Other than that, we are both healthy. I'm finally feeling him move and kick a lot more. Which is a weird feeling and it startles me most of the time. This kid has a serious leg on him.

I'm jealous. It's only going to snow enough here to make a mess that I have to drive home from work in. Hopefully we don't get dismissed early, because I'd rather leave early, than have to stay till all the kids are home. I'm so ready to be home all the time.

I told Tyler yesterday before he went to work that I could really get used to being home.....I have aprox 6.5 weeks before I'm done working if all goes well and I don't get put on bed rest or anything crazy.

Lucky you! We haven't had any snow yet this year and may not! In a way it would be good to have our last day of school on June 16, but I also really like the snow! We are going to Park City, Utah for four days in February so hopefully it will snow while we are there.

Amber: Yay, for feeling the baby! It is a weird, but also cool feeling.

Well. Was gonna go back to work today, but I decided to take a tumble down my stairs in the middle of the night. Baby is fine, no cramping or bleeding and he's been moving around. Mama.... Not so much. I have huge bruises on my elbow, tailbone, knee and foot. add that to being sick all night and early this morning...it's been a fun 12 hours

Mine too. I have no idea what happened. I'm usually so careful cause they are narrow and I'm so clumsy. I take it slow, don't carry anything up and down them, use the railing, etc. I just slipped. It was mostly my back and tailbone. Went into super mom mode and managed to use my elbow to prevent hitting my stomach. Think he just got shook up a little. He was moving and kicking twenty minutes later and has been since then, like normal.

My mom said as long as he's moving like normal and I'm not bleeding or cramping, should be good. Just scared the crap out of me. It took hubby like a half hour to get me to stop crying.

I'm so glad you and baby boy are ok. That's really scary. I remember sliding down the steps on my butt when I was pregnant with Abby. They had me come in and monitor me for a little while. Everything was fine.

I'm mostly better. Tailbone is still sore but everything else is healing up. Little man is still moving around and everything seems normal = ).

Yikes!! So glad you are both okay. It's a fear of every pregnant woman, I think. Then it changes to fear of falling while carrying your baby after they are here. I remember the first time Lily took a tumble down our stairs at our rental.
