Vent

I really hate my job. Most of you know this. They have cut my hours, so my pay has gone down greatly. Plus I have to put up with my boss yelling all the time because she is so unhappy at her job. I am so stressed out. So I had to break down and ask my dad for a small loan until my DH gets paid. I have never done this before. I have cried all day. I feel like such a failure. If I do not get this job that I interview for on friday, I am going to find a part time job. I'm sorry to post this here but I really just needed to vent.

Re: Vent

  • I am so sorry!  I am sending lots of job dust :)
  • Erin-  I am so sorry you are frustrated.  While I don't know how you feel about your job I understand your frustration about needing a change (we have been trying to get to B'ham for a year now).  I wish I knew what to say to make you feel better.  I will be thinking about you though and sending you major doses of job dust.  And no matter what, you are not a failure!!!! Everyone has hard times and they will pass!!!!!!

  • First of all please don't apologize for venting. I, for one, don't mind listening.

I am so sorry about your job. I pray that you find a job that meets your needs, emotionally and financially.

As for the loan, you are not a failure. Everyone needs a hand up sometime...God Bless!

  • I'm sorry!  Please know that it will be alright.  Just have faith.

  • And good luck on your interview again. You'll be great!

  • I hope you find a new job soon!  Just have faith, and don't ever feel like a failure.  There is nothing wrong with asking for help when you need it.  Good luck at your interview!
  • Sending lots of job dust your way.

We're here for all your venting needs!

And you should never feel like a failure.  Its just a really difficult time for most people.  Everyone needs help some time.  Your dad loves you and trusts you and I'm sure he understands your situation.  You shouldn't feel down about yourself, you need to stay positive and know that this time will pass.
