I put mine on as I leave the house and take them off almost first thing when I get home. This (at least in my mind) helps me avoid whacking them around any more than necessary and I could not sleep in them if I wanted to, they would bother me....and absolutely never would I do housework while wearing them. At the time we got engaged I worked at McRae's and I Bob and I looked at some traditional sets in their fine jewelry department. Nothing rang our bell. We looked at some upper end stores in Dothan and came away cold. We had McRae's jewelry do a custom job featuring an emerald (wedding was in May) and diamonds all around it. It looks like the Princess Dianna ring only the center is emerald not sapphire.

Do you wear your rings (wedding set) all the time? Pretty much. It's not so big that it gets in the way (the bands are thin). I wear it to the beach, pool, gardening, and working out. I feel like it's safer with me than in a hotel room or locker at a gym. Guess it just doesn't bother me. I do take it off to shower and when my fingers are a little swollen from water retention.

Do you wear your rings (wedding set) all the time? Just my wedding band. It's just a plain gold band so I don't have to worry about losing diamonds like I do my engagement ring. I clean, shower, work-out, and sleep in it.

Did you pick your set out or did DH? We both bought our wedding bands before we officially got engaged, so we both picked our own out. DH had the jewelry store build my engagement ring but I picked out what cut of stone I want.
Do you wear your rings (wedding set) all the time? I don't wear them when I am sleeping or showering. I can't handle any jewelry on while sleeping...it bugs me. Wes bought me this tiny little jewelry box from Anthropologie that I keep on my night stand. It hold my rings at night so I know they are safe.
Do you do housework while wearing them? If I am working with something that has chemicals I wear rubber gloves so yeah I leave them on
Did you pick your set out or did DH? Well he took me into the store to get an idea of what I liked. I picked out a couple of sets, and he went from there. Cool fact: I held the actual loose diamond before it was set in my ring (before I knew he was getting it.) I have a princess cut solitaire with 5 channel set diamonds going down. He bought a set, the band has channel set diamonds in it.

Almost all of the time. If I know work is going to be bad then I leave them at home. But that happens rarely. They don't bother me so I sleep, shower, work out in them. The only time I take them off is when I am putting lotion on. I have a lot of small diamonds in my e ring setting and the lotion gets all stuck in it.

DH took me shopping and I picked out a couple of settings. But when I saw my ring I fell in love with it. I guess he picked up on it because that is what he got for me. But he picked out the diamond. And he did a great job if I say so myself
Do you wear your rings (wedding set) all the time? I don't wear my rings to bed or in the shower. If I'm just hanging around the house I don't have them on either, yet when I'm getting ready to go somewhere that's the first thing I put on when I'm done getting ready.
Do you do housework while wearing them? No, I don't wear my rings while I clean. I'm so destructive, LOL that I bang my ring on anything and everything.

Did you pick your set out or did DH? I picked out the cut of my engagement ring (just a solitary) and we picked out my wedding band together because I knew I wanted a wrap for my ring. We finally ended up with a custom job from a local jeweler.
I never take mine off unless its getting cleaned, but I am still in the early stage so I love looking at it all the time:)

I do everything in my rings - I hardly ever take them off - I'm bad like that. I should get mine cleaned soon because they are so grossly filthy.
I picked out my e-ring but I had no idea that DH actually got the one I picked out. it was a designer from the NW and the jeweler had to special order it. We picked out the band together. It's not part of a set but you can't hardly tell.
Do you wear your rings all the time? I take them off to shower or wash dishes. All the soap builds up so they stay cleaner longer if I take them off.
Do you do housework while wearing them? I do, but I take them off for dishes or if I am cooking with something that could get in it.
Did you pick your set out or did DH? I had been lusting over my engagement ring for a while, but he looked at others too. I had never actually tried it on or anything...I just saw it in the case every time we were in the store. We had to have a custom shadow band made for to go with my e-ring, but DH let me design what I wanted.

Do you do housework while wearing them? yup. the only time i take them off is when i wash my hair...that way my e-ring doesn't rotate and scratch my scalp..and sometimes before putting lotion on my hands

Our friend was sort of running interference to make sure I'd like the ring and he even told me how H was planning to propose b/c he knew the original idea wasn't really me (he's been my best guy friend since the 10th grade so he knew). anyhoo, he relayed what I liked to H and that's what I ended up with. As for my wedding ring, H and I picked our own rings out but we went together and we bought each others.

I beat them up so badly that I usually just wear them when we are leaving the house to go eat...go to church..etc. Then they go right back in my jewelry box when I get home! Mark got me a beautiful anniversary band...so that is what I usually wear!

The first time I met MIL she was wearing my ring. I told DH I wanted it, he didn't even know she had it. She inherited it and another 3ct ring. Obviously DH couldn't afford the 3 ct ring, it appraised at $27,000. So he bought the smaller ring from her, it is from the early 1920's.
Do you wear your rings (wedding set) all the time? Pretty much all the time. Sometimes I'll switch from my set and wear a plain white gold band with a small bezel set diamond ring I have (while traveling, going in to a bit city, etc.)
