Happy Hump Day
I am so glad it is Wednesday!!!!!! I have to work tomorrow and then I have a three weekend!!! What is everyone doing for Valentine's Day? We have to make up for last year- I had to work and we had KFC for dinner. So I think this year we are going out to eat on Friday somewhere nice. Too impatient to wait on Saturday.

We aren't doing much for V-day this year. Since our anniversary is in just a few weeks I want it to be more special. DH has to work until 2:30, then we are going to Columbus, GA to register at Babies R Us and will go out to eat while we are there.
I am planning on getting him a card and making a cookie cake, but that's it!

ugh, IL's are in town this weekend. I know, I'm awful but just not in the mood for it as much as I love them dearly. We are going to the gymnastics meet on Fri, I'll make something Sat and we'll go to the basketball game that afternoon/early evening. Sun they are taking us out to eat and they are staying til Mon morning. Which means I'll probably have to leave late since we don't have a spare bed anymore and we stay on the fold out couch when co is in town........ I get up at the crack of dawn and Brad isn't going to enjoy that. ha.

Well I am really excited for this hump day because one of my close friends finds out what she is having today! I cant' wait to go buy pink or blue!!
My DH leaves Friday morning for a work trip so he wont' be here for Valentines Day! Our first one apart!
But its okay I am going over to a friends house to hang out with her and watch movies. Her husband and her wont' be doing anything because he just had surgery on his foot!
I'm ready for this day to be over. I'm submitting a paper to a conference today, and I'm waiting on my co-author to get his edits to me so I can get it finished. I HATE waiting until the last minute like this, so I'm peeved.
I have no idea what we'll do this weekend - we generally don't make a big fuss over Valentine's Day. I'm sure we'll go out at some point, but probably not on Saturday - I don't want to deal with huge crowds.
I am SO glad it's getting closer to the weekend. I woke up at 4:30 this morning and went to the gym and I much rather have stayed in bed.
We're doing a low-key V-day this year. Saturday morning we are going to eat breakfast at Cracker Barrell and use up our gift card that my brother and SIL gave us for Christmas. After that we're going to mess around for awhile and that afternoon we're going to the UAB basketball game.
I'm excited, I have the day off everything Friday.
On Saturday night, we are going to see Casablanca at the Alabama Theatre.
