Another Cake
I created this cake for my co-worker's wife. She is a writer, thus the ink well and quill. This was my first time using fondant. There are a few small cracks but overall I'm really happy for my first try. Also, I LOVE the feather. I didn't know how I would make a quill, but they came out amazing! And I painted it (with editable paint) so that in sparks a pretty gold color. The cake itself is chocolate with banana cream filling....I wish I was going to get to try a slice

cookie - i think J went through the Wilton cake class series...i did the same through my local JoAnne's and would definitely recommend it - the classes are cheap and you learn a lot!
