Need prayers

I had to take my doggie to the Vet this morning. Since sunday she had been walking slow, just acting really tired. Yesterday she couldn't walk down the steps to potty and couldn't jump up on the couch like she normally does. So I get a call today and she has a herniated(I know I didn't spell that right) disk in her neck. So the first thing that they suggested was to give her a IV over night and bring her home on meds for a week. This will cost us $460. If this doesn't work she will have to have surgery and that would cost $2000. We told the Vet to do the IV because we don't have the money to get her surgery right now. I just don't know what to do.

Just pray that the IV thing works. I have cried all day at work not knowing what is going to happen to Daisy. I'm home now and she's not here which makes me want to cry more.

And I can relate- our puppy Lola is fighting Parvo right now and our vet bills total over $1000 so far. ?She now has a dangerously low platelet count due to the Parvo virus (and the fact that she survived) and is on another round of medicines and treatments. It has been very very rough for her (and us!!) ?

They do have a "Care Credit" plan where you can make small monthly payments interest free for so long so you might want to check into that.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that your pup is sick.  I'll be thinking about you guys and praying for a speedy recovery of your little pup.  Keep us posted.

Thanks ladies. I really appreciate all the thoughts and prayers! I talked to the vet this morning and Daisy is responding well to the IV. She is coming home this afternoon and we have to limit her movement. We have to confine her to a small room so she can't jump or run. If we bring her in the living room we have to keep her off the couches. She is coming home on meds to keep her comfortable and to keep making her better. So we are still looking at a long road but right now we won't have to do any surgey!!!

Stephanie, we are using Care Credit. Her vet bill is adding up quick. Thanks again ladies! I knew I could count on your for support!
