Just planted some vegetables...

Feeling good today...just planted some tomatoes, banana peppers and mint. I am growing them in a pot for the first time. We have a very curious dog so planting them in the back yard was out. I hope they grow...the lady at the nursery said they would...we will seeHmm

Re: Just planted some vegetables...

  • I bet they will be just fine! Congratulations on your garden. Way back when I just met Bob he was living in an apartment. I was really amazed at all the veggies he was able to grow in pots on his patio and in a limited space.
  • Wow good luck! I need to plant some peppers...yum!

  • Good luck trying out your green thumb!  We've got a cherry tomato plant in a pot too, but I think DH is planning on putting a small garden in the back.

  • I would LOVE to have a vegetable garden!  But I don't know how green my thumb is so I'm a little hesitent.  I did, however, see in the Lowe's ad today that they have blueberry plants.  I would love to have one of those!
    Siggy coming soon....
  • Yummy!  I am sure they will grow.  My dad has a huge vegetable garden in our back yard (he grows all of the produce him and my mom use).  He actually prefers to grow some things in pots due to pests.  I know he grows his mint in a pot on the back deck so I am sure yours will grow.
