How's everyone on their Christmas gifts?
It's the week of Black Friday and I'm curious on how everyone is doing on their gifts? Are you planning on getting a lot of things Friday?
I really need to get my Mason jars so I can do my applesauce. That will bring my total gifts to mostly done. Just a few things for my mom and M will be left. I wrapped everything I could locate tonight and am SO proud. Hahaha. But I know if I waited until December I'd be completely out of the Christmas spirit working until 11pm and then midnight the two weeks right before Christmas.
Re: How's everyone on their Christmas gifts?
Well, my brother and I chatted this evening and chose the main gift we're getting my mom; I just need to go pick it up tomorrow or Tuesday.
That's it.
DH and I keep saying that we'll sit down and make a list and a budget, but it sounds like such a horrible time that we haven't yet.
I browsed through some Black Friday ads and nothing really jumped out at me.
I have 2 of my 19 people done. I have ideas for most everyone else, but I am waiting till Black Friday to really get started.
I am trying to stick to a budget so hopefully it will work.
I'm so excited! I was looking for something to get my nephew, who's baptism is right before Christmas. My co-worker suggested looking for stuff on etsy, and I found this small wooden cross. I'm asking the wood-worker to make one with oak to match my sister-in-law's house. I'm thinking about getting one for my grandma for Christmas, too. It's so hard to find stuff for her, since she has everything. I might get her one of the cutting boards instead, though.

Now if I can figure out gifts for everyone else! Christmas will be here so soon and I don't think I'll have the energy (or patience) to get my butt out on Friday!

Bella's Bistro - My Dairy Free Food Blog
29 gifts to shop for and FH just got laid off 2 months ago - fun. I just feel like our families aren't understanding we are on one income. Some of them do a secret santa with a $200 limit per person. Now it's increased to $220 this year. I am trying to go along with things but being the sole income and is really starting to get to me. Yes we can live on my income comfortably (because we don't have a mortgage or kids) without touching savings but it's a ton of pressure on me because we were very very comfortable and generous with everyone and the continuing expectations are a little hard for me to handle. Also, my FH isn't feeling like we need to cut back as much as I am. Oh well - I guess it will get better.
