Photocard update & bad review

So we decided to make just wedding photo-cards and send separate holiday cards.

We chose Kodak folded accordion cards, b/c they are highly customizable and you can include several pictures.   Here is what the outside of the card looked like (it gets folded into 3 panels):

We customized the inside of the card for each guest.  Anyway, the quality of them SUCK!  The colors are way off, so much that my neck looks blue!  The paper is thinner than past ones (my friend also used them) and there are dots/flaws on most of the cards.  These weren't cheap at $3.49 each - what a waste of $$$.

They also shipped another couples' 100 cards to us and when we called them to tell them, they didn't care at all.  They didn't want their name or order #.  They just said that when the couple called, they will deal with it.

Anyway, I thought I would let you all know in case you are considering ordering from Kodak.

Re: Photocard update & bad review

  • I can't see the pic, but that totally sucks.  Next time use Mpix!  I had a great experience with them, had a pic on the front and the back and I could have had one inside if I wanted.  They came out to less than $1 each.

Oh well though.  At least you know not to use them next time, thanks for sharing the review.

  • Thanks for sharing this info. I usually use snapfish and their quality is usually pretty good. Their cards range from .47c up to $2 a card.

You would think with the name Kodak their quality would be good. Sorry your card didn't come out the way you  expected and that you had to pay so much for them.

  • Wow, sorry to hear about that..I've used Kodak Gallery for 4 years now and didn't have an issue like that. I made my Thank You cards and wedding photobook and it came out great.

  • Follow up... I wrote them and they offered us (a) a refund if we sent them back, or (b) replacements, if we send them pics of the bad cards.  We are going to take the replacements, and hope that they look better.  They are super cute, unique cards - I hope they look better.
