My favorite gift was from MIL - she gave me a book called "The Newcomer's Guide to LA." It actually gives you useful information, instead of just being a tourist's guide.

A new knitting bag, Wii games, yarn, a new throw blanket for the couch, gift cards for clothes.
I loved all of my gifts. And apparently, I still have more coming.
New mexican food (non-existent in TN). At least one meal every single day over the holidays. Yummo! A couple of little "patron saint" wall sculptures for DH and I that were cute, Sephora gift card.
. Not exactly Xmas spirit, but maybe one less stressful thing to deal with was enough for this year.
DH and I got so snowed under with crap before we left, we just sorta decided to shop for something afterwards for each other
I got a drawing done by an artist. I am way too excited about that.
Also: Some homemade bread and some homemade apple butter. Suck on that, y'all!
