I thought for sure going "No Poo" meant that she was just going to stop feeding her kids altogether, so she wouldn't have to clean up their schit anymore.
Her actual explanation isn't much better, though. Shampoo is CHEAP. Go get a jug of Suave for a dollar and call it good. Once again, her reasoning makes zero sense.
Re: <1000
the no shampoo people are also the neti pot and diva cup people.
I'd like to say I use a neti-pot, not a diva cup AND I shampoo. How strange.
Also, how are they going to clean their hair without shampoo? Anyone?
Baking soda & vinegar. GOD'S SHAMPOO.
At this rate, I'll bet she'll stop using deodorant (if she's even using it now), create some sort of mutant soap cheese that can pull double-duty, and you KNOW she saw this and thought it was an awesome idea.

my head started itching as soon as I read that no shampoo thing.
as for soap making - maybe someone should link her to LA's soap making blog?
i guess i am addicted to shampoo. and it's not very expensive. i use suave, and it costs me maybe $3 every other month for shampoo and conditioner. add in sales, and the cost is minimal.
i still don't believe her when she says she writes her husband's blog but doesn't proofread his dictation. she defended him once in her comments and now she's taking blame so people stop making fun of him? why can't she either help teach him to write properly instead of letting him go through life illiterate, or proofread the damned thing for him?
DED @ this comment:
"3. I want Daniel to be able to write his name by the end of the year."
December 31, 2009 9:13 AMGood luck with that! Anything to make his blog more legible would be great!!!
