I can't decide if some of these people are just as bad as EK.
From the latest post about her son in a coma:
"Oh Emily, I have been there/done that several times and I know how hard it is. I hope Daniel is doing better, and that you are doing okay as well. Hugs and prayers for you and your family."
Really? Your kid has been in a coma several times? WTF?

Is he brain damaged? (LD, not BD.) I hope not. Maybe they wouldn't post this on FB.
Big Dan might be brain damaged.
But seriously, I'm thinking there must be some long term issues if EK hasn't updated yet. I'm thinking brain damage or they're fighting not to lose custody of the kids. Or both.
Also, if you check farther down Dan's facebook page you'll see a post from the Friday before the incident about cleaning up puke. That would be actual, tangible sickness 3 days before Emily "noticed Daniel was a little tired." That makes my skin crawl.

That's what I'm afraid of. The prognosis did not look overwhelmingly positive--something about him not talking as much as they'd like.
It just sucks when kids are stuck with crappy parents. If EK wants to eat apples and eggs for the rest of her life, whatever. Those poor kids haven't done anything and now at least one of them appears to be worse off due to his parents' ignorance.
Life FAIL.
