Tree Stump

Any cute ideas on what to do with a tree stump?  put potted flowers? plant bulbs around it?  Just wondeing if I can actually do somethint with it.....

Thanks

Re: Tree Stump

  • How tall is the stump?

If it is short and close to the ground, I would put a pot on it with trailing flowers like petunias or something along those lines to cover it up.

If it is taller, I would do a pot with flowers on top that don't trail with others planted around the base.

  • getting someone out to grind it down is much more afordable than I thought.  They ground a stump and removed a dead tree and that stump for about $300.
    nothing
  • We had ours ground for an additional $100 when it was cut down.
  • I also paid $100 to have a stump ground out.

That area became a nice planting bed.
