I need to make a dessert for tomorrow night for about 8 people. I was thinking something with peppermint or something along those lines thats festive.
I'm preoccupied with some other stuff going on, so I'm not really finding much.
Anyone have a recipe or suggestion? Its either that or I'm going to buy a bundt cake from nothing bundt cakes if inspiration doesnt strike.
Re: Need dessert recipe
What about making brownies topped with peppermint bark (add the bark when the brownies are still warm) and then having brownie sundaes with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge sauce with some crushed candy canes sprinkled over the top. Easy, and a twist on a classic.
Or Grasshopper Pie.
Not peppermint, but still festive and REALLY good!

This is SO good and easy to make. I serve it with 'Nilla wafer cookies and slices of apples and pears: http://homeiswheretheholmansare.blogspot.com/2010/10/pumpkin-dip.html
There's another one that I've been wanting to try that is a lot healthier (0% fage greek yogurt used in it...instead of all the cream in the first one), but since I've never tried it, I'd still recommend the first.
Here's the healthier one: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2010/11/pumpkin-pie-dip.html
These mint brownies are to die for...
