(actually i baked most of them to try to be healthy, but fried a few because i just had to....and it just smells soo good in here!!)
Re: happy hanukkah!
Happy Hanukkah ladies!
Bring my some of those latkes please MMMMM!
This was my first time making them actually - and I decided to do it because I had tons of potatoes leftover from cooking Thanksgiving haha.
I can't believe how early it is too.....I am going up to NJ to see my family this weekend, but since my mom is moving today she won't have her kitchen together.....so I had to try to make some myself:)
I love my crazy child!
My Bio
Sounds good to me!
Happy Hanukkah to you ladies.
I have a question, what are potato latkes? Sorry if I sound like a idiot for not knowing.
Potato pancakes, basically. They're traditionally eaten at Hanukkah because the oil used to cook them is reminiscent of the oil from the Hanukkah story. (in the story, oil kept candles burning way longer than they normally would have, so it was seen as a miracle).
Thank you! I had no idea, but it sounds really good!!
My silly Lily is almost 4.
HAPPY HANUKKAH!!!
Mmmm latkes! I'm all up for a holiday potluck sometime in the next 2 weeks.
