6. A country you have always wanted to visit? I want to go back to Australia. I was there when I was 17 but only saw Sydney area...I want to see more. I also want to do New Zealand with it.

11. Worst family vacation as a child? Drove to Texas for camping- rained the WHOLE time and my ear drum popped with an ear infection. Not a good trip.
12. Somewhere you really want to show your child(ren)? Europe- Germany where my grandpa was injured in WW2 and spend time recovering.
13. What kind of vacationer are you? (Tourist, laid-back, etc.) mixed - depends on the trip, where we are going/what we are doing. I tend to plan more before the trip but be more laid back once we are there.

I'm a mix of both.. Just depends on where I am..
1. Where and when was your last vacation? Disneyland - August (unless you count my recent trip to Big Bear last month. It was for a funeral though, so I don't.) Well, and I guess we also did a little weekend Sedona trip in September too.

5. Your dream vacation? Hawaiian island cruise - starting in CA. Lots of quiet, peaceful, relaxing time cruising on the ship, and lots of beautiful destinations with fun excursions - best of both worlds for me!

7. A country you have no desire to visit? I can't think of one in particular, but any one where there is war, or I would be scared of getting stuck there, or scared of getting thrown in jail for crossing a border, or something like that.

10. Best family vacation as a child? I cannot pick just one. But most of them center around Disneyland. Another favorite was when my parents took my sister and me to Show Low to visit a friend that had moved, and we all went skiing. And another favorite was actually in college, but we went to Vancouver and took a ferry over to Victoria. That was a really great trip.
11. Worst family vacation as a child? I don't have one. Some are better than others, but nothing I would call worst.

13. What kind of vacationer are you? (Tourist, laid-back, etc.) Depends on where I am, how long I have there, and if it is somewhere I visit often (or isn't too hard to visit) or if it's a once-in-a-lifetime kind of trip. I go to Disneyland so often that sometimes I'm like a tourist and packing it all in, and other times I just want to BE there. When we go up north and rent a cabin, I like to be lazy and very laid back. When my husband and I went on our Alaskan cruise, we had laid back moments on the ship, but when we docked (and after the cruise when we went to Victoria for a few days), I wanted to see and experience stuff and take advantage of the limited time that I was there.
