Eat Pray Love

Ok, so I am reading this book. I have about 2 chapters left in Italy. It?s really weird but I feel like this book speaks to me. I have never felt that way about a book before. I can relate to a lot of things when she talks about her marriage. And I?m sure it doesn?t hurt that her name is Liz either. So when she asks her self ?What do you want, Liz?? I find my self wanting to answer. Rome has always been the one place I say I want to go to before I die. And in the book she mentioned someone?s birthday (I want to say her sister?s maybe?) And it was January 25th. That?s Aiden?s birthday.

Ok, thanks for reading my random post! Lol And Happy Monday everyone!!

I love my crazy child!

Re: Eat Pray Love

  • I haven't read it yet, but I know my MIL felt the same way about it. She said she could not put it down until she was finished. She thought I would enjoy it, and loaned it to me months ago. Unfortunately DS apparently has found the world's best hiding place for it, and I've given up trying to find it. I know I'll find it one day, and I look really forward to reading it then!

  • I need to read the book, I saw the movie and wasn't impressed but I have heard to book is better. I am on the list at the library for it for my nook!
  • That's cool, Liz! I really liked her writing style and I loved the parts that took place in Italy.
  • I feel like it spoke to me in a lot of different ways.  Like, maybe I wasn't living my life to the fullest.  I feel like I sacrifice a lot, and then end up being held back.  I think I identified the most with Italy and India.
  • I'm glad you posted this, I will need to add it back to my list of books I want to read.  I wanted to read it, but a friend of mine told me that she read a few chapters and couldn't make herself finish, so I decided against it.
  • This is a hard book to get through, because of her unique writing style, but when I finished I was so glad I read it. There are so many parts that will speak to you in different ways and make you look at life differently.

I was also disappinted in the movie but loved the book so much I had to watch it. I'm in the process of reading Committed  it is the almost sequal to Eat Pray Love.
