LOL! That is too funny!
Not much new here, really. I've had some cramps off on and on but nothing crazy. She seems pretty content in there. I have a dr appt and growth u/s on Wednesday so we'll see. Everyone keeps telling me how huge I am and there's no way I'll make it to my due date, but I don't necessarily think that's the case. I am anxiously awaiting my dr appt to see the u/s and see if he does an internal check. I have 7 more nights of work! YAY!!!! After this schedule is up I am done. I can't do it anymore. I think the 18th is my last night, or something like that.
I ordered the crib mattress and I think my IL's are buying the pack n play, which we will keep in our room. Worse comes to worse, at least we have a mattress for the crib and a place for her to sleep. I was getting antsy about not having anything! It should arrive soon.
H is nesting big time, too. Last night he ripped out part of our ceiling in the hallway where an old coal stove used to be long ago and replaced it with some new dryway. Now he wants to clean the carpet. He is too cute!
It's getting so close! I am nervous, excited, scared...so many emotions!
YAY! I'm so excited for you to be done with work! I've had people telling me how huge I am too - I wouldn't put much into their comments! I went to an event with my H on Saturday night and I had a Sheriff come up to me and tell me that he had an EMT at his table, in case I needed him. EVERYONE was asking me when I was due, following it by comments of how I'd never make it because I'm so big. I'll be waiting for an update about your u/s!
Someone asked me the other day if I was having quadruplets. He then told me he could catch them all in his net if he had to. Niiiiice! The net comment was pretty amusing, but not the other one! At all! I thought the twin comment was bad, lol! H doesn't understand why I get so offended when people ask me if I'm having twins. To me, it's like asking someone who is not pregnant, "when are you due?" I used to get that a lot. It wasn't until I was about 25 weeks pregnant that my gut reaction went from being angry to happy when people asked me that question.
So glad to hear everything is going well for both of you!
Jennifer: If she decides to come on Sunday, I don't think your husband would be miffed. She is going to have him wrapped around her finger as soon as he sees her. I'm sending positive vibes that all continues to go well.

DS was due a few days before the Super Bowl and the Patriots, our team, was playing. I was so sure he was going to wait until that day to arrive, and that I would spend my time laboring as H spent the entire time glued to the tv. Luckily, Beckett decided to come a little early, so it wasn't an issue!
I would KILL H if he was glued to the TV while I was in labor! Although, I have a Doula so that would save me! I guess only time will tell! I just talked to my Midwife about all the nausea I've had and she said hormonal surges before labor can cause that.
