Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

My parents' old friend, whom they have been friends with since before I was born, was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma a few months ago and underwent surgery to remove it. During so, they discovered that they caught it semi-early and it hadn't travelled to his lymph nodes. Yay!
Well, we get a call yesterday saying he had a scan in order to participate in a clinical trial, and the doctor found cancer throughout both lungs. The doctor said without any treatment, his prognosis is 2-3 months. With some treatment, it could extend it a little, but it isn't going to be livesaving by any means.
My heart is just breaking for him, his wife and 2 kids (21 and 16) and my parents. He has been in my life since I was born and is like an uncle to me.
T&P that he is able to have a wonderful few months with his friends and family.
