Re: Need some help
I love me some hobby lobby! I thought about some type of sconce or maybe some of those iron wall hangings??
Thanks!! I love the wall color we picked. It blends so well with everything!
I love the wall color too.
I don't know how realistic it is, but I would suggest blowing up the middle picture to be a bigger size, then arranging the others around it in exactly the same fashion. I think sconces might detract.
But I relaly like Lauren80's idea of the tall plant behind the lounge.
I think two long, narrow frames could go on either side, if not sconces. Old Time Pottery is another great place to go for art if you have one nearby
i thought about it after i wrote you last night, but a large woven basket would be pretty on the floor next to the chair too....maybe a storage area for some magazines and books....it might make the space more inviting to sit and read or something?
I've actually been looking for a basket or odd shaped small table. My chair angles out so there is a space between the wall and chair. I just can't find anything I want.
I thought about finding some wall scrolls (you know like the words up can put on your walls) to put on both sides of the frames. Or maybe even making a large frame to go around the smaller ones. Like it is one big frame. Does that make sense?
yeah....i see what you are saying.
i liked the idea that one poster had about possibly reframing your middle pic.... i really love walmart's gallery style frames (i think now they are moving to the canopy brand, but they are similar frames)....and i think matted pics would make a bigger impact on the wall maybe?
i know that is what i want to do with my picture wall in my hallway...i just haven't bucked up and bought all the new frames yet.
If I redo this, (what I will probably do) with bigger frames or bigger middle pic, I will have holes in my wall. Do you know any quick fixes so that they wont be seen? Plus I don't think there is anymore paint left to do touch ups. =(
i totally feel your pain on that one...we don't have any of the paint used to paint most of the common areas of our house...we don't even know the name of the paint or brand or anything! it has been crap...
as for "quick" fixes, i would just try and position the frames such that the holes would remain covered.... and that might be hard
