Is your DS getting excited? Has he said anything cute about being a big brother?
Her name is going to be Maisy. And yes, Beckett is very excited. If I call him (as a pet name) "Baby," he says "I'm not the baby! I am the big brother!" And this morning he crawled into bed with me and asked if the baby had come yet. He is definitely going to be jealous, but he is looking forward to it.
I love Maisy. I haven't seen it spelled like that, but I like it!
Awwww at Beckett. That's really cute. Does he realize you have to go to the hospital to have the baby? Is that going to freak him out?
He's going to be such a great big brother. I can't wait to see pics of him holding Maisy! Those are my favorite!! Awwww!! Hurry up & have that baby... I can't wait anymore!!
I'm not sure if you are thinking "Macy" which is what a lot of people seem to assume it is, but it is actually pronounced "MAY-zee" like Daisy. Hope that isn't a burden for her. Macy seems to be gaining in popularity lately, so I think she will get that a lot. But that's who she is to us now, so no changing it at this point.
Beckett knows we have to go the hospital, because he is very excited to get to visit me while I am there. I think he just forgets in his excitment. And I can't wait to see him holding his little sister either! He was pretending to this morning and it was sooo cute.
I was thinking 'Macy'. Sorry. I've never heard 'MAY-zee' before. I really like it though. It makes sense once you said Daisy. Are you giving her a middle name?
