Price range is negotiable, but this could also be a monthly bonus, so nothing extravagant.

I'd say a gift certificate.  I think where it is for should either be tailored toward that person's interests or they should be given a choice between several places.  It sucks to get a gift card you have no use for.  The lunch options are "Meh" to me and not everyone enjoys theme parks/concerts/sporting events or charm bracelets.

I just got a gift certificate for my 10-year and it was for a whole bunch of places. I forget the name of the company, but I have a code that I redeem for the actual gift card.

Pretty sure mine's going to be for Amazon to put away toward my camera.

I would say the gift certificate. If I had to choose it would be maybe to a jewelry store like Tiffany or Helzbergs as I can always find something I like at either of those places. I get mall gift certificates all the time so I would pass on getting another one. Or I wouldnt mind getting a gift card to a spa and the day off to go use it.

Lunch out or 2 hour lunch 1x.week for a month might be like a nail in the coffin as the work would just pile up.

Gift card is definitely the way to go!  Our teachers do a raffle for 2 gift cards a month and I'm always dying to win (I usually do!).  (To qualify for the raffle teachers have to do a certain task and each time they do it, they get their name put in the raffle...more task = more chances.)

But seriously how about American Express GC?  They can be used any where American Express cards are accepted.  My parents give me one every year and I can use it on whatever I please.  Love them!
