container gardening question
Can someone please post a pic (if you have one!) of your cucumbers growing in a container... with a trellis or something for them to climb up? I've never done it before and the guy at the feed store was trying to explain....
(I didn't admit that I graduated from a College of Agriculture....I should know how to plant and grow things)
And secondly, can I plant cukes, tomatoes and peppers in the same container? It's one of those large barrel planters........
TIA
Re: container gardening question
I just looked up the cuke/trellis/container info today! Try googling for pictures and instructions on how to get it done. That is going to be my plan for my first attempt at growing cukes this summer.
As for your companion planting, I don't think that is going to work out so well. The cukes might start to climb and choke out the tomatoes.
I found this chart to be helpful as I plan my garden this year.

It's not a cuke plant but this is how I did my peas in containers at my old apartment, and the same concept should work for cukes easily.
