Somewhat of an odd question I guess...
So today on my way home from work I got a bloddy nose out of no where and some blood got on my seat belt. My question is, does anyone have an rec on how I can get it out, I have the sweater I used soaking/washing but I want to treat the seat belt as soon as possible. TIA sorry if all this is somewhat TMI....
Re: Somewhat of an odd question I guess...
Try hydrogen peroxide. Rub it in really good with a Qtip.
jaye beat me to it. Hydrogen peroxide does wonders!
Is your nose really dry right now since it's so dry outside? If so, try using a saline spray a couple of times a day. Since it's just saline it's completely safe for pregnancy, and it can really help prevent nosebleeds (if dryness is the cause).

Well I normally do have dryness year round out here so I get these like sores or whatever (sorry TMI), I haven't tried the saline yet but I might have too. But yesterday I am not sure that was the cause, it very well may have been but it just wouldn't stop bleeding like it normally does. Thank you for the advice
What do you ladies think of the nettie(sp?) pot thing? Does it work and do you think it is worth trying?
I used to use a nettipot when I had ridiculous allergies (they've toned down recently).
It helped a lot, and was pretty easy to use once you get over the weird feeling.
I know this sounds gross, but I learned that your own spit works really well getting out blood (it has to be your blood, and it works best when you do it right after the blood gets on something). In a pinch, try spitting on a napkin right when it happens, and try it. I know that seems gross, but it works pretty well.
I learned this at my best friend's wedding when my best friend got a cut on her finger, and she got several blood spots on her white wedding dress. We were all freaking out until my sister told us the trick, and it totally worked!
I think it works better on certain fabrics, but it really does work!
