Aw, yeah!  Enjoy your cruise!  Wink

  • We had our NT Scan on friday, and it went really well! Just waiting on the bloodwork. I have a new due date: 10/29/11.

M/S has gone down A LOT! whoooo =) But now i have this terrible pain in my butt area. It feels like it needs to crack but it won't. Oh well, i'm not complaining. I will take this pain over M/S anyday!

  • DD left yesterday to spend spring break with her dad in FL.  It was her first time flying unaccompanied.  They require the parent to escort the kid to the gate and then wait there until the plane is in the air.  Lucky DD, her plane had mechanical trouble and sat at the gate for almost two hours before it even took off.  I was freaking out a little.  The gate attendant checked on her for me though and assured me that she was reading and having a grand old time.  She finally landed in Florida after 4 hours sitting on a plane with no parent!  And she did great.  I talked to her right after she landed and she was bubbly and happy and excited to see her dad.  I'm so so proud of her!  My baby is growing up.  Crying
  • We switched Declinn to whole milk at the end of last week.  Now she refuses anything that resembles milk/formula!  Dr suggested putting some chocolate syrup in it so we are going to try that.  She also refused to try eggs, but I'm going to try again.  She loves her grilled cheese though!
  • Thanks ladies! He is getting big and more easy to manage, but the thought of another child is still frightening : )
  • Kennedy is doing really good (in my opinion at least) - we'll see what cardiology says tomorrow.  I weighed her at my birth center today and she was 9lbs 4oz.  That's up 12 ounces in 12 days!  They've GOT to be happy about that.  Please please please let them be happy about that!  She's such a great baby - really getting a personality and enjoying her toys.  She's so much fun to snuggle and play with.

As for TTC - we decided to take it easy until after Kennedy's surgery.  If it happens, it happens.  But we won't actively try until after it's over.

  • Jace has his first tooth! So exciting! Sitting, then saying dada, now teeth...I'm in denial. He is getting so big so fast!

  • Zoe has been in  a really good mood all weekend! She also woke up this morning all smiles and was chatting with her buddy, Tazmanian devil, on her mobile. He is her favorite to watch! She has been babbling more and it is so cute!

Tomorrow we go to Shriner's about her hip dyplasia. I am really hoping we can go to 12 hours on, 12 hours off with it, at the very least. I hope her little hips are getting better! She has it on both her hips, but the right one is worse than the left. She still doesn't even notice the harness. She does this cute little dance and kicks out her legs (well, the best that she can in her harness anyway). It is so freeakin adorable! I love my little girl so much!

I went to my final doctor appt today and my doctor was trying to convince me I need to get KU again soon, lol! H and I are just using condoms now but we definitely don't want another baby right now! We want to enjoy Zoe till at least next year, then we'll think about more. My docotor said Zoe is really cute and to take his advice because he sees a lot of babies! :P

  • Maisy is 4 weeks old today, and things have been getting a lot easier all the sudden around my house. Beckett can still really be a handful some days, but he has gotten so much better with being jealous toward her. It was made more dififcult that my H has been working 70+ hour weeks, and didn't get any time off after she was born, so I was pretty much on my own, adjusting to having 2 kids to juggle.

Maisy continues to be a really good baby, thank goodness, and I'm having fun having a baby again. Her fractured clavicle wound up being a non-issue really, but the biggest struggle was that she lost so much weight and was having an impossible time regaining. I'm hoping at her appointment tomorrow, she will finally have reached her birth weight. It will be my 8th visit to the pedi in a month, and if all is well I won't have to go back until her 2 month check up.

Tasha - Macy lost a ton of weight in the beginning too and was a slow gainer.  She went from the 75th percentile (I think, when she was born she was 8 lbs 4 oz) and dropped the the 10th percentile in weight.  The doctors were very concerned and had me bring her in regularly for weight check ins.  I am happy to say that her low weight (now in the 5th percentile) is a non-issue.  She is steady, and they have accepted that she is just a petite toddler.  I am thinking that Macy was super swollen when she was born (since I had major swelling issues).

So maybe the same thing is happening to Maisy?  She was a BIG baby after all :)
