morning all. happy friday. we made it! the week is almost over.
i have a LONG BUSY day, to end with a run, and the new grill and patio set. i cannot wait to run, clean a little whilst my hubs cooks, and then eat bbq for the first time this year (last night didnt count, it was hot dogs).
tomorrow i need to drive 2 hours back to MA to go to davids bridal for a bridesmaid dress. hate living in the sticks some times! my first weekend home in 4 weeks and i have to travel again? while i am there though, i am going to make a bunch of stops, including trader joes, christmas tree shop, macys (need some new clinique), and bed bath and beyond. then home to head over to my cousin's grad party.
poo, its supposed to rain all weekend and be cold. just when i was getting used to this great spring weather!

Shauni- Very jealous of you going to the Christmas tree shop. I try to explain to people in Florida about the greatness of the store and they just don't get it.
Whoo hoo for Friday! I don't want to be at work. Not feeling great and I'm tired. Couldn't sleep last night ended up on the couch because lately that is the place if I can't sleep in bed. I've been good about coming to work everyday even if i don't feel great knowing that later on I will probably feel worse. I also hate calling in sick to begin with.
This weekend I don't think we are doing much of anything which is nice.
Morning all. Soooo sleepy. After the worst hangover ever yesterday, I still stayed up late watching movies. Stoopid me.
After work, went to Walgreens, rented some RedBox movies (No Strings Attached and Due Date), went home, shipped some eBay shirts, went to the post office, then to Fazzolis for dinner and hung out w/ mom and watched a movie. At Walgreens, I got boo boo a new toy. Since I was out late partying the night before, I felt like a bad dog mama.
She loves her new dog loofa, which I aptly named Pinky. Asia loves the honking sound it makes. It's her new bestie (she fell asleep w/ Pinky in her mouth last night). Yay for bribing!
Tonight going to hang w/ my besties and their kids, then picking up DH from the airport on Saturday. Some time in between those two, need to take some loads of crap over to the new house.
The sun is out for the first time in 3 days. I feel your rain pain Shauni, hope it clears out quickly!

We just had our last interview at work. Now I'm patiently waiting for the other guy here to get off the phone so we can make a decision. Then I get to make a trip to Costco for work/home. I'm armed with their coupons so this should be interesting.
I bribed H yesterday with chocolate to clean the oven for me. I really hope Costco has a bulk bag of the chocolate he likes because if not I'm spending a fortune on it at the grocery store.
Married / The Cookaholic Wife
Several weeks ago I made a dentist appt for this morning. It did not occur to me that I no longer live 20 minutes away, so I asked for the first appt - 7am. Last night, I realized I'd have to leave the house around 6am to get there on time. Luckily, it was a short appt, so I'm only 30 min late to work instead of the 2 hours I thought it would be. But I'm definitely feeling the effects of that 5:30 wake up call.
Tomorrow I'm attending my sister's 10am graduation (who does that?) and then lunch with the family. Might stop by the church carnival to say hello to people I haven't seen since last year's carnival.
Sunday I have a meeting with the other bridesmaids for this shower. I really don't want to go and I'm really tempted to skip it, but for the sake of the bride, I'll play nice.
And at some point this weekend, I must finish polishing up my wedding video (and send to my photographer to start getting clients!), and start the decorations for the surprise cookies I'm planning for the shower.

My day did not start off so well. I woke up at 2AM with a huge stomach ache and cramps. Without going into details, I was up all night and am now 3 pounds lighter (which I guess is a good thing!) I am feeling much better now though and was able to eat breakfast. I cannot imagine WTF this was as H ate the same dinner I did and was just fine. I didn't eat any strange or new foods yesterday. Weird.
Tomorrow I may need to pick my mom up from the airport. Again. She has been in Florida for the past week and is coming back. I am the furthest away (over an hour drive) and do not know why my dad or sister (who are both living at home with her) cannot do it, but I don't feel like causing a problem or getting in the middle of it. I do feel a little taken advantage of though - it's not like I get gas money for doing this and the prices are totally out of control. It wouldn't be so bad but I have picked her up 3 other times already just in the past couple months.
My birthday is Tuesday May 17 so we will probably go out for a nice dinner with the family to celebrate Sat night, then go out on the town with friends. H and I will be going out for a nice dinner just the two of us on my actual birthday. I'm really excited

Tonight I need to do a little shopping and a little hausfrauing. MFD is bartending and all his tips go to Relay For Life. Huzzah. So I will be out for a bit tonight.
Tomorrow more hausfrauing, plus a trip to drop shat off at Goodwill and a trip to Produce Junction.
My cousin is having a "party" for a wedding that took place March 1 on St. John, that no one was invited to attend. Etiquette fails all over this piece. MFD is driving me, my mom and my aunt. At least there is a photo booth. I will be in there all night.
Sunday I'm cooking, weeding, cleaning and relaxing.
Tbears, the mowing is out of control this year. The grass needs to be done every other minute.

I need a house so I can have a puppy. Saw the cutest golden pup last night and it really reminds me how much I miss having one around.

I am tired beyond belief and woke up 4 times last night coughing up a lung.
We have Lando tonight and I hope he's not in a mood...horrible stepmom I am.
Tomorrow I get to go hang out with my lovely sister in law!!! (this is a huge ball of sarcasim). Im dreading it to say the least and might get sick or make some other plans so we can leave early.
I'm 10 too cuz it made me laugh.
Jessie, having to see my one sister in law can seriously put me in a mood for weeks beforehand. Luckily I haven't seen her since Christmas Eve. Good luck tomorrow!

Happy Friday. Yesterday was quite productive...between feedings & naps I got the bathroom & kitchen cleaned, did a load of laundry and all the dishes. Made a crock full of white chicken chili for dinner (and cut my farkin finger...knife is too sharp, if that is possible). Was good we had leftovers because BIL and nephew hadn't eaten before they came so they scarfed some down too.
DH's family came over last evening for cake for his birthday. They stay for freaking ever. And of course uninvited (by me) people came along to see Baby Q. I don't really mind that they want to see him, but at least call and let me know you invited other people along, MIL. When it came time for the cake, DH was smart enough to cut the one I bought him. MIL's cake sat and melted all over my counter. Now we have it stored in the freezer. I'll wait a few weeks before I toss the damn thing in the garbage.
Baby Q is napping in his swing at the moment. SIL is coming over in a bit and we're heading to Marshalls. I'm in search of lamps for the newly finished rec room. Hoping to score a good deal. Otherwise no big plans for the weekend. DH will be working on (and hopefully finishing) his shed tonight and tomorrow. Sunday we're heading down to my parents for a friend's baby shower and to visit. Hoping the weather holds out.

No big plans for the weekend since it's supposed to rain...boo! We're going to watch Bridesmaids. It's funny because when we first saw the preview Richard looks at me and says "yes we can go watch it" I then smiled a big cheesy smile.
I think we're also going to Party City in search of a tiki pinata for his b-day party. This pinata will be for ADULTS ONLY. Sorry kiddies but you always get to hit a pinata, now it's our turn.
Shauni- What grill did you get? We're getting my dad a new one for his b-day in July because his current one is about to break down.
Brew- We saw Due Date last weekend. I forgot to return it so now we don't have any new Netflix coming.

Citygirl- It may be gastritis. Same thing happend to Rich a few months ago. He woke up in the middle of the night with severe pain and cramps. We thought it was food poisoning but it was gastritis.
I've now finished all necessary work. It's just regular screenings from now on, unless I hit the jackpot and can afford veneers to fix my crooked, dull smile.
I did not understand the greatness of Christmas Tree Shops until last year. Last week I stopped in and they had some serving dishes that were made in Portugal. I bought them in an attempt to impress my MIL.

Today is an icky day. It is cloudy and drizzling. It makes me want to go back to bed or just curl up and watch a movie.
We have no plans for this weekend so I will probably just be running some errands and picking up decorations for the baby shower I am hosting on the 22nd. I am making big blue poms (Martha Stewart style) to hang from the ceiling. We are doing a loose jungle theme so for the favors I am doing animal crackers in white paper lunch bags with a big blue ribbon.

I was driving back from the dentist this morning, and on a residential street near my house, a black cat darts into the street in front of me! We both stop. I'm trying to see if it's going to keep crossing or if can safely continue without hitting it, and the cat is staring me down as I pass. He continued on his way after I passed. And then I realized it was Friday the 13th, and it was a completely black cat I had crossed paths with.
Way late on this but this morning has bee hella busy. I'm finally settling down to eat my fruit for lunch. Damn you paperwork and damn you bitchy liaison who has a stick up her ass. /rant
My parents came in last night instead of this morning so we gave them their new motorcycle helmets and they loved them. Mama will be rocking a hot pink helmet now. They're leaving sometime today and so are we to head back to their house. Jeremy wants to go down there so whatev...they have a pool so I'll be working on a tan all weekend (unless it rains).
Sunday is my niece's birthday party. I can't believe she'll be 5. She's going to love her purple pettiskirt and glittery shoes I bought her.

Had lots of meetings this morning after I finally made it in to work. Morning sickness has been out of control, so the doctor wrote me an Rx for Zofran yesterday, but the pharmacy part of my insurance wouldn't fill it. Grr. I called first thing this morning and got this terrible rep who was insistent that he couldn't tell me how much they'll fill without the prior authorization unless I knew the dosage. How would I know that, if my doctor called it in for me? So he let it slip that it's 8, so I'm like yeah, it's 8mg. And he goes, no, you don't know for sure.
and then 
. Got myself together and called back, and got a very reasonable lady who worked it out for me. I am currently puke free.
