I told H today that I felt like we have an empty relationship. He said he feels the same way. I don't know why, but this makes me feel better. At least I know it isn't just me that feels this way. I'm not sure what is going to happen next but I felt I just needed to share that.
Re: "Empty"
On the one hand, I could see that hearing that might hurt. On the other hand, knowing that you are emotionally through with the relationship, it would probably make it more difficult for you to move on when you're ready if he was trying to emotionally guilt you by telling you how much he still loved you.
I am so sorry that it has come to this, Liz. You know we are all here to support you and want to see you happy again.
I love my crazy child!
My Bio
I know it is weird, but I almost feel like this is progress for you guys - you shared and agreed on feelings...that is a step in A direction, right? I sucks so much that you are going through this, but I am SO happy you are taking care of you.
And don't EVER think you are the bad guy. Ever.
Ditto, ditto and ditto. It takes two people to make any relationship work. So, unless you are out banging dudes, snorting your weight in drugs and gambling away every dime you have, you are NOT the bad guy here.
I agree with this and I also think that this might make it easier to keep things civil when you guys move on. It's so much easier to find common ground and get along for the sake of your child when the split is mutual.
I've been thinking of you Liz & so sorry :-(
