Who would you be in 2010?
Stolen from another board...
What name would you have in 2010 based on the Social Security popular
name lists? To find out, go to your birth year and see what your name
was ranked. Then go to the 2010 list and see what the name is for that
same number.
For example, in 1980 my name(Kendra) ranked #154. In 2010, #154 was Haley.

Re: Who would you be in 2010?
Ava (#5)
I was born in 1980 when Sarah was the #5 name.

In 1977, Carrie was #28. In 2010, #28 was Anna.
Side note: in 1977, some of the top names were Jennifer, Heather, Melissa, Amy...so true, I had lots of those names in my classes!
Riley...? Lindsey was #40 in 1982 which is way higher than I would have predicted--I never went to school with another Lindsey (or Lindsay) until 8th grade and even now, I know about 3 other Lindseys around my age.
Fun fact: the 40th most popular boys' name in 1982 was my DH's name!
Riley, huh? Riley?

Oh jeez...my name would be Aliyah.
Side note: my name was way more popular in my birth year than I realized. I blame Bush #1. (my name is Barbara) Not that 143 is very high...but still. I've only ever met one barbara in my age range.
My Goodness...another food blog. Featuring: Macarons from a old post with a photo taken by my mom for a break from my crappy food photos!
Danielle was #30 in 1981, which amazes me, since I only went to school with a few other Danielles over the years and even now I don't know any, let alone any around my age. It's #195 in 2010 - it's dropped rapidly in the past 10 years.
Sarah was #30 in 2010. No thanks.
Kathryn was #111 in 1971;
IN 2010, Lydia is #111.
I'll take Kathryn 100x over Lydia - bleh
Interesting, I actually knew several Lindsey/Lindsay's in school.
I knew one Barbara in school. She went by Barbie which I have to say was always odd. You always thought of the doll...

Fun poll, btw!
... every single day of forever.
In 1982, Stephanie was ranked 7th.
In 2010, Abigail is ranked 7th.

I was curious about how long Jennifer was number 1. It was at number 1 from 1970 to 1984. It is no surprise that you couldn't find Jennifer stuff because you had 11 years of Jennifers ahead of you
Ha, this is what the site told me:
Jadey is not in the top 1000 female names for any year of birth in the last 11 years.
Please enter another name.
And you know what, I don't mind one bit. I like being one of the few with my name.
My name was #730 in 1982
In 2010 the #730 name is Alia..... Hmmm not sure about that.

My name was #13 in 1982
In 2010 I would be Ella...I'll stick with Tiffany
in 1982- #14- Kimberly
in 2010- #14- Natalie
Mine was #36, so I would be Taylor.
My name was #647 when I was born, so if I had been born in 2010 I would have been Jaylene. I was hoping for something a little more ridiculous considering how low my name is on the list.
To this day I have never met another Joan in my age range. The youngest person I've met with my name is 50, haha.

I'd consider it such a compliment to be compared to Sophia Petrillo. I love the Golden Girls with a passion.
Shanda, I've never even HEARD of the name Janiya!

That's what it told me too
I'm okay with having a name that wasn't very popular
