Memorial Day Weekend plans?
What do you all have going on?
It's our anniversary weekend (six years! And I know it is for angelabbf too--congrats!)! We usually go away to celebrate, but due to MIL being sick we had to postpone this year. Still might do a last-minute trip to Provincetown in Cape Cod, but don't know yet. Otherwise, we'll BBQ with family on Monday but that's about it.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Memorial Day Weekend plans?
Happy anniversary to you and Angelabbf
We have a pretty busy weekend planned.
Friday we are taking off work to help set up for our bff's wedding. Then the rehearsal dinner later that night.
Saturday is the big day! I'm so excited for our friends wedding and both hubby and I are in it.
Sunday we are taking our trailer up to the lake to join our friends. They have the boat up there and were going to spend the night drinking and playing on the water.
Monday is more boating time!!!
I'm sure I'll be a zombie on tuesday, but it will be oh so worth it.
YEP! Me too!!!
We aren't going anywhere this year because DH is in school and can't miss any classes and has a TON of homework. Also, because a really close friend of ours is graduating and has festivities for that and the actual graduation.
We'll probably do our anni trip 4th of July Weekend (which DH has off of school). Looking at a 1-2 night trip to Monterey or somewhere semi-local.
(happy 6 years!!!!)
Ditto! Happy Anniversary ladies! I remember when you two got married back in the day...
We're heading to my dad's to work on the yard (ripping out a fence etc) for him. That will be the bulk of our weekend I think. Probably see the MIL as well. And we need to clean our own house.
Maybe we'll BBQ on Sunday at dads - I LOVE bbq (ie, burnt!) hotdogs!
Thanks, ladies! And I remember your wedding too, Mystery2B. I remember thinking your tiered cake stand was really pretty, though I think you didn't like it at the time? Man, we've been around here a long time! (Oh, and this post counts as my half of the deal for your Pinterest invite
).
Andrea, if I don't end up going to P-town, do you guys have any free time on your trip up here this weekend?

I cannot believe 1) that I've been married 6 years, and 2) that I've been around the knot/nest with some of you ladies for 7!!!!
And yet we've never met!

I'll be out the last weekend in July for a wedding in the east bay but don't know yet if we'll be extending the trip beyond the weekend. My problem is never having enough time there to see everyone we want to see. We have a large "family" of friends to catch up with since we haven't been coming out as much the last couple of years.
Why don't you come to Boston?
I'm kicking things off with an MNO tomorrow night, then SIL, BIL and their kids are coming to visit for the weekend. We'll spend a day or two in Santa Cruz with my sister since we've been wanting to get everyone together for a long time. I'm going to a baby shower on Sunday too. Should be a good weekend.

Friday- Girls night with one of my friends. Not sure what the game plan is.
Saturday is our 5 year anniversary....we are probably just going to dinner and a movie, since we just came back from Maui this week.
Sunday- Friends over for a BBQ/game night
Monday- My birthday. Above mentioned friends may still be at our house, so plans are tenative at this point. Probably out to brunch and some shopping.
happy anniversary ladies!
well, we don't have memorial day here, but we are busy this weekend. we have our friends' son's first birthday party tomorrow and then running errands afterward. then on sunday we are having a bowling party to thank our cast and crew for helping us with our 48 hour film festival. i love having fun plans to fill up our weekend!
