I love outfits like this with monograms. They have this outfit at a baby store here...I saw it a week ago and said if I still wanted it in a week then I would go back...I have to work out of town tomorrow but am going Friday. I am trying to decide what color to monogram with...white or blue...
Re: I want this for DS...
That is adorable. I would do white so he could wear the white peter pan blouse underneath. To me the shirt underneath makes the outfit. You need to learn to sew!! That is an easy outfit and it would cost about $10 in fabric to make. You could even line it in a matching gingham and roll the leg up this year and next year unroll it. 2 years of wear. At Opelika Sewing Center they teach a class to make the shorts version of the longalls.
Katie don't be knocking Giggles & Coos, they are one of my wholesale customers. But I do think that Cutie Pie has tons more boy clothes.
I totally agree w/V.
I need to learn how to sew too and get a machine so Heather we need to do this!!! I think Amy is going to get a machine soon too.
OH Vanessa I am by NO means knocking them b/c I LOVE their stuff!!!! and girl you KNOW I support you wholeheartedly!!!!
I never make it back in town to get to Cutie Pie but have heard they have cute stuff too.
:: hangs head in shame ::
I was about to say exactly what Vid posted... you should buy a pattern and make it! I made two A-line dresses that were a similar style last year for my niece. I then took them to get her monogram embroidered on the front.
I think in total (without the monogram) it cost be about $16 in fabric for TWO dresses. Not bad at all!
I love the little jon-john and shortall outfits like that. If we have a boy I'm definitely dressing him in that kind of stuff. I love smocked outfits too.
yeah, I wish I was as talented as Vanessa as she can sew, smock, monogram, ugh - guess I just need to keep her as my friend so when I have kids......... ha!!!!
I LOVE the jon-johns, smocked outfits, pillow dresses - all so cute!!
