I completely thought Father's Day was yesterday.
So I already mailed my dad his card last week, and even celebrated with DH with dinner on Friday at the Cheesecake Factory. We didn't realize Father's Day wasn't until this next weekend until Saturday, but I still gave him his present yesterday! I got him a couple sets of sports onesies, one that says something like "Daddy's #1 Draft Pick", and a set of pacifiers to match. 
For real Father's Day I think we are just going to DH's father's house for dinner with his brothers and their family...and we will probably use the holiday as an excuse for a nice dinner...again!
im really excited about fathers day!! i know our jellybean isnt here but im so excited about making this a special day for alex
for dh: sadly, he was super busy with work and didnt make it to our last prenatal appt so he didnt get to hear the heartbeat for the 1st time. well, i knew the day before that there was a 98% chance he wont make it so i bought one of those recordable childrens books and took it to my appointment. i recorded the whole part where my dr was talking about the heartbeat and then found it. i also got him 2 cards one from me and one from our unborn jellybean (yep, hallmark makes fathers day cards from unborn babies)!! we will be going to breakfast at the tapatio cliffs resort. -during breakfast is when i will be giving him the book. plus his other gift, new reef flip flops haha
for my dad: we are going out to a late lunch prob at outback or chilis nothing too special but my parents love those places. my dad loves music so we got him this vintage/antique record player that we know he will love. my gpa will be joining us too and we have yet to pick something up for him.

Haha! That's cool that they have cards from unborn babies. I love it! Sounds like you've got quite the day planned. That was such a great idea to record the heartbeat.
We're going to Sweet Tomatoes brunch (our fave) with my fam, and then I'm going to make Casey his favorite dinner, corned beef and cabbage. Lol, such a dork!
I got him an external harddrive (not sentimental at all - he just wants one) and some shorts. And I'm trying to order him one of those customized coffee mugs and a mouse pad for his desk w/ pics of Lucy Goose.
Not sure what we'll be doing for his dad....
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
