War of the Coo-Coos (aka Jos & Nat)
Ai they wore me out me last night. One second Nat is starting a fight with Jos, and literally the next second, Jos is starting in on Nat. And that cast...owie!!! Jos bonked Nat with it while watching Bee Movie and tells me "Baby, she cry." Yeah, ya think? And Nat...it was that whining cry...oh just stop please. ~sigh~
I feel like a referee. Maybe I should get myself a whistle. Can you imagine? Ha!
Thanks for letting me vent.
Re: War of the Coo-Coos (aka Jos & Nat)
LMAO! I can only laugh because I feel your pain. Rhian and Reese are best friends one second and mortal enemies the next. Reese is expected to share every toy with Rhian but is not allowed to touch Rhian's stuff. Then Rhian calls Reese a crybaby. Then Reese pulls Rhian's hair. It goes on and on and every once in awhile Michaela throws herself into the mix.
I call my mom and apologize everyday now. My sister and I are 16 months apart and I know we were exactly the same. I'm even beginning to realize that they won't grow out of it because we still act like that even in our 30's!
LOL! I just knew that you'd appreciate my chaos!!! Jos says "Baby share" but mean "what hers is mine and what's mine is mine" LOL!!!
Two nights ago, they were all lovely dovely too. It almost gave me a tooth ache it was so sweet. One would trip and fall, so the other comes to help pick them up and hugs and kisses everywhere.
OMG! It's too funny!
"Baby share" cracks me up! We had another little party for them with the inlaws last night and Rhian opened all of her presents and then wanted to "help" Reese open hers. Reese was getting mad and trying to push Rhian away and Rhian just kept persisting until Reese got too close to Rhian's new bicycle. Rhian then decided that she needed to protect her bike and left Reese alone.
You are not alone.
My boys, oh dear, they just don't like to share. I liked your idea of buying 2 of each if I ever buy new toys for them. In the meantime, they will just have to share. Right now, if two of them are fighting over the same toy, I will ask Edward to give Christain another toy to play with. So far, this has worked, but once Christian gets older I think he will be persistent that another toy is not what he wants, he wants the one that they are both fighting for.
Good grief.
I do the same thing and it works about 80% of the time. We did buy doubles of a few of their faves but it only seemed to make things worse. Now one of them wants to play with both of the identical toys at the same time while the other sits there crying.
When I flew out here last week I brought Reese with me and left Rhian in AZ with my sister. They missed each other sooooo much. As soon as Reese saw Rhian she got excited and started jumping out of my lap and was babbling and giving Rhian hugs and kisses. This went on for almost 20 minutes before the fighting began and I wish I had thought to pull out the video camera to capture it.
Oh yeah! They talk to each other! I could swear that Nat says Jocelyn or Hey Jos...if you listen closely that is.
They definitely look for one another, like first thing in the morning and after being separated for any period of time. Ex: week after Jos broke her leg, only Nat went to day care, so they had lots of solo time to miss each other. Hhmmm...maybe that's what I need to do to keep the peace. Oh my!
Nat's new thing: Wake up Jocelyn = climb in her bed and sit on her, talking very loudy all the while. LOL!
COO-COOS...that's for sure. Man, I feel ya! And Miss Thang Jos must love her new weapon. Poor Nat.
Whining is what annoys me the most and Camille is a master at it.
