Stanley Cup Champs - YAY! So excited for them - they seem like such a humble, down-to-earth bunch of guys.
Also, I can't get over the riots in Vancouver. Seriously, way to throw a temper tantrum. It's sad.

Whooooo!!!!! I'm pretty sure our LO is going to be a HUGE Bruins fan. I was home alone watching the game and after they won I believe LO was moving all around. It was kinda cool/weird.
I really can't believe the riots, very very sad.
im glad the bruins won because as a new englander, i am bound to support all boston teams. but hockey is something i could care less about.
i'm over hearing boston fans talk about the riots. hello, we rioted in crazy ways when the sox won. why are we judging people for rioting when we did the same thing?

HELL YES!!! I'm a huge Bruins fan and so happy they won! You should have seen our party last night - 6 large men picking each other up and spraying champagne everywhere, it was amazing. To see them with the Cup...I can't even explain. Also, I made these awesome Bruins cupcakes (I'll have to post a pic later). Oh, and now I am COMPLETELY convinced we're having Attison Neely. If our ultrasound in 2 weeks shows a girl I'll be shocked.

Yes when we won (sox) in 2004 we rioted hell my college even had a mini riot in 03 when we won game 1 of the ALCS and lots of teams gather and celebrate. I think what is so alarming was how damaging they were in vancouver. I read they were breaking into stores and stealing out of said stores. Also, I think it looks different when you are celebratinga win instead of looking like a sore loser.

Oh and don't forget turning over police cars, SETTING THEM ON FIRE and SETTING BUILDINGS ON FIRE.

not at all saying that vancouver was right in what they did, but riots are riots, and we should not be judging them because we pulled the same shits, except we did it for winning and not losing.
