I am throwing a baby shower for my best friend, who's having a girl. It is at her new home (per her request and I'm in the process of moving).
These are my quick thoughts:

Some of these for decorations:

also making a flag banner or just using paper streamers.
maybe making the deco fushia, bright green, bright blue?
Menu:
sandwiches, fruit, pasta salad, veggie tray/dips and cupcakes. all served on white dishes. as well as mimosas/cocktails.
There will be about 30 people coming give or take.
Do you ladies have any other suggestions or thoughts? (Or any recipes of fun things to add would be great:)
Re: Baby Shower Plan
I know that not everyone agrees with me - but at a party in my honor, I don't want to sit around and watch people eat/drink something that I love but can't have. Sipping on orange juice while everyone else has mimosas wouldn't be fun for me.
I think that a fun non-alcoholic cocktail would be a better option.....but again, I might be in the minority.
Will you be serving a variety of different sandwiches?
Yes, she requested cocktails be there. And that is why she's my best friend:) j/k. But I will have plenty of NA drinks as well. Thanks!
And good idea with a variety of sandwiches!
I'd do a variety of sandwiches and be aware that some pregnant women won't eat deli meat. I'd probably add one other side.
It might also be fun to make up a mocktail for the guest of honor.
My grandpa cuts these for baby showers and its always a big hit!
