crazy med question.
Anyone else have problems swallowing pills? I will "hide" them in puddingor applesauce and will gag and almost throw up every swallow if I know there arepills in it. If there are not pills I do fine. Its prolly a mind game.Any other tricks? I have never been able to take pills with just water as they don't always go down right. Being pregnant and being on several meds I have to split itup over two bites and I gag everytime.....I have asked my dr and they thinkmaybe its cuz my thyroid is enlarged?? I dread taking my pills all the time because of this issue.

My friend has this problem. I was always real side eye on her thinking oh it's in your head. Well, she choked on a pill and her husband had to call 911. They did a run of tests on her and her esophagus is super tiny.
She always had to eat really slow and kind of just knew which pills would work and which ones wouldn't.
Okay so I have a similar problem. Pills suck! These are my two tricks and I swear they help me!
1 - Try taking the pill with chocolate milk. I have to put the milk in my mouth, drop the pill in, then swallow, and finish with another drink of milk. Water is the worst thing to take pills with!
2 - Please try this, I know it sounds stupid but it works! Put whatever liquid you take your pills with in your mouth, put the pill in, lean forward a little bit with your chin towards your chest. It will go down like magic!
