Converting Bridal Gown to Baptism Gown

Hi Ladies!

I'm looking for a seamstress in the Hudson Valley area that can convert (or incorporate pieces of) my wedding dress into a baptismal gown.

I don't know where you are in the HV but I believe Withworth on Cherry Hill in New Paltz can do it. She can make anything! We are doing this with my wedding dress but my mil is making it for me. There is enough material for a baby blanket too.

We did a Blanket for our little boy out of my moms gown with some pieces of mine also LOVE this idea,,,my MIL did it for us though

I wanted to do this.  MY dress though is still in a ball in a bag:( 

So I am using MY baptism gown:)

There is a lady in Pawling who is amazing.  She would have done mine, but DD wore my dress, which was made out my my godmothers wedding dress.

here is the name of a girl who did my friends daughters dress out of her wedding dress....she has a place in goshen and poughkeepsie....www.ohsewperfect.com 8452384361...we would have used her if MIL couldnt do what we wanted
