I'm so tired. I wish I could say it's just because it is Monday. But for a couple of months I have been so tired, drained is a better word. It is like I have no energy. Doesn't matter how much sleep I get. Last night I got about 9 hours and it was good sleep but I am dragging still today. I'm beginning to wonder if I might be anemic? Is there any of other signs of it besides low energy? I do take a vitamin everyday ( a prenatal vitamin actually), but still feeling like this. I have my annual in a few weeks so maybe something can be figured out then. I was just wondering if there are any others signs/symptoms?
Re: I'm so tired
Thanks for the advice about the iron supplements. Would I need to take them with food or before I go to bed? I take my vitamins before I go to bed so they don't make me sick. I'm not sure how much iron is in my vitamins...I'll have to look when I get home. I'll def see if that works!
I'm anemic. I take my iron supplements with a small snack before I go to bed because it kind of gives me a stomach ache during the day. At night I don't notice it.?
Aside from tiredness, have you been dizzy? I have issues with dizziness when I get really bad - I've passed out a couple times because of it. Apparently you don't have enough red blood cells to carry enough oxygen to the brain which causes the fainting spells. Also, trouble breathing and cold skin are signs of anemia (I only know the signs/symptoms I have).?
Hope you feel better. I know it can be hard..I literally have no energy sometimes and it doesn't matter how much rest I get.?
I don't really have any dizziness. But the cold skin is a yes. Especially my hands and feet. They are always freezing!
