Do you get along with your inlaws? Yes.
Why/why not? I work with my FIL every day! MIL lives across the country, so that's kind of a non-issue.
Does DH get along with your parents? Yep.
Annoying or cute in-laws story? Hmm... well, working with FIL, I have plenty of stories. We pick on one another quite a bit.
Do you get along with your inlaws? Yes I get along with them very well. My mother in law sometimes overwhelms me because she is a hyper person and sometimes asks a few too nosy questions but I can over look them most of the time. She has two boys so I'm a first experience for her in the "daughter" type experience.
Why/why not? They treat me like a daughter...it's like I just got a second set of parents. I can talk to either of them about most anything and they are always there for us when we need them.
Does DH get along with your parents? Yes he get's along with them really well as well.
Annoying or cute in-laws story? The only annoying thing right now is that DH inadvertantly let MIL know we are TTC and so she asks me some really personal questions sometimes.
Do you get along with your inlaws? Most of the time I do.
Why/why not? The way DH and I choose to live our life is completely different from what they did. So it has been a huge adjustment for us to get used to how the other one does things. We do love each other and most of the time are able to get along.
Does DH get along with your parents? Yep.
Annoying or cute in-laws story? I have a few of both. When we were still dating I was talking about how I loved the movie Walk the Line because I like Johnny Cash. I think she thought I like him more than I do because everytime she sees anything Johnny Cash related, she buys it for me and I don't have the heart to tell her that I don't like him that much.
Haha that could be my MIL! We did our kitchen in Australia black, white and red accents. Any time she saw anything that was black and white she'd buy it for us. We ended up with this weird wooden zebra statue for christmas one year lol.?
My MIL does the same with turtles for me! I used to love turtles and so she always picks up something when she sees it. I don't have the heart to tell her either...so I just put them in my classroom lol.
Do you get along with your inlaws? Yes for the most part
Why/why not? FIL is wonderful, MIL is noisy, she gets to me sometimes but she is good to me

Annoying or cute in-laws story? My DH went to the DR. we didn't have the money to pay a bill so MIL offered. MIL told DR office to mail the bill to her. So they did for 120 days, we finally got a bill 120 days later that said she had not paid and if we didn't pay it they would turn it over to collections. That was a bad day! I talked to the DR office when the bill came to us and explained the situation and they let us set it up on payments and were very nice about the whole thing. I couldn't believe she would have let that affect our credit. If she hadn't offered to pay it wouldn't have been a big deal. I learned a lot that week! LOL
Do you get along with your inlaws? yep, very well. i'm lucky.
Why/why not? they have always been very welcoming of me, and have always treated me as part of the fam.
Does DH get along with your parents? now he does. it was a little rocky for a while. dh and i are hs sweethearts, and he broke up with me once, so my parents were a little skeptical of him when we got back together. but they were never rude to him or anything. he just got the feeling that they didn't really like him, but now it's great.
Annoying or cute in-laws story? i think the only annoying thing about the in-laws is that they've been bothering me about having a baby since even before we were engaged (and we've been together for 10 yrs). they really want a grandchild apparently.
Do you get along with your inlaws? Yes
Why/why not? When we got married, both of our families accepted the other as one of their own. My FIL tells me I'm his favorite child ;-).

Annoying or cute in-laws story? My MIL calls my hubby to ask how I am and doesn't ask about him, lol.

MIL-yes, she's wonderful
FIL and step MIL-not so wonderful, but we play nice when we see each other
Why/why not? MIL has always been there for DH. FIL and step MIL have not been, and we see them rarely...
Does DH get along with your parents? yes! My parents love him and I know he has really appreciated being part of my side of the family
Annoying or cute in-laws story? When we first started talking online, DH and I were in high school. I told my parents I wanted to talk to DH on the phone. My dad called DH's high school to verify he was really 17 years old at the time. DH was sent to the vice principal's office, who had to ask him if he was talking to a girl in Alabama because of my dad's email! The vice prinicpal was amused, DH was so embarrassed! haha!
Also, when DH first told his mom he was talking to a girl online and that he really liked her, she told him she had a friend who married someone that they met online and she thought it was great...she was so sweet about it right from the beginning.
yes i do but i still get annoyed too though
mil has really done alot for us and continue to. fil, not so much. he has never really liked me from the beginning. he just never though i was good enough for his son

Do you get along with your inlaws? We tolerate each other. We don't hate each other, but we're never going to be best friends.
Why/why not? My MIL complains a lot and can be very critical of others. I respect her place in dh's life, but I don't have to love someone who finds something wrong with everything I do and hurts my feelings. She complains about everyone, not just me.
Does DH get along with your parents? I think so. He and I were raised very differently and I think my much larger family can be overwhelming and annoying. Our parents live about half an hour apart. Sometimes he spends more time with his family and I spend more time with mine. It makes it easier on both of us.
Annoying or cute in-laws story? Too many annoying ones to list.
