I know that there are many, many dogs in shelters across the country and they all are in need of a loving home, my husband and I have two rescue dogs ourselves. But, today I came across two very special dogs that are in need of a home ASAP.
About a month ago a special woman who was employed by Auburn University suddenly passed away at work, her name was Cindy. Cindy had two dogs, Tracker (a 10 year old chocolate lab/Chesapeake mix) and Shooter (a 12 year old black lab mix). Tracker and Shooter are currently staying at Auburn Veterinary Hospital outside of Auburn. I met these two dogs today and they are so incredibly sweet, loving and beautiful. They must be so sad, having their owner go to work one day and never come home to them!
Steven and I would adopt both of them in a heart beat if we didn't already have three dogs in a small, third floor condo.
If anyone has room in their home and room in their heart for these two amazing dogs, please help them! They would be forever greatful, I know, as would I!
Here is the link to their pictures and information:
Thanks so much! As I said, I know all homeless need to find a family, but these two really hit me hard.

Re: Does anyone want a dog?
Aww, I wish I could take them but we have our hand full with Daisy. I will post this at work and get my husband to as well. I hope they find homes soon!
Oh my gosh how sad. I wish I were in a house or larger place I would take them in a heartbeat. I'm in a small, second floor apartment with a no pets policy. ?
I hope you have some luck finding them a home. ?
