  • hmmm...I just got tinkerbell card games like a memory game for age 4 and up at Michaels for 45 cents each on clearance from Christmas, they were in a nice metal box.  I also bought note cards with initials and a pen for girls but this was kind of personal since it is family and close friends attending the party we are having.

  • i am always a fan of these balls, all the people we have 'favored" them to, love them. You can get 20% off and free shipping and when you divide it by the # of balls you get in each pack its not too bad

    boys and girls right?

    yes

    about 15 kids

  • we are doing a Fun Bus party this year too!

How about a gift card to Barnes and Noble or your local ice cream places?

Last few parties we were at we received Melissa and Doug huge coloring pads (very cute!), drinking cup with name on it and an ice cream dish and spoon with name on it

We have given out T Shirts (with the party theme) and personalized crayon rolls with coloring books and of course crayons ...

Not sure what we are doing this year ....

hmmmmm all these are good suggestions. the problem with the ice cream is that people are coming from md/va/dc and we don't have one constant ice cream place near everyone. or i'd do 16handles in a heart beat.

i like the cup idea and the ice cream cup/spoon and the coloring books. ok ladies keep em coming

  • I started ordering all my goodie bags from Birthday Express. I've become lazy and uncreative lately.

  • If you go with Tink theme you can do Disney store cards.  By the time you spend the money and time on the stuff to put the things together you can just buy $10 gift cards.

  • I don't know the age of your dd but what about recycled crayons. I did these for my dd's bday and they were a hit. Also they are not gender specific so makes it even easier.

  • we did super hero capes this year. HUGE hit.

maybe you can do wings for the girls & capes for the boys if she sticks w/the tinkerbell theme?

  • I did $5 Disney store gift cards for kids. We have gotten GC for TRU, Target, Build-A-Bear. With the GC was some candy and a craft....necklace craft kits I ordered from Oriental Trading. The craft kits are a HUGE hit with the kids. Try AC Moore or Target. I just got Bella. Tinkerbelle to go pack for $1 at Target. Comes with markers, stickers and coloring sheet.
  • Along the recycled crayons theme, I did crayons for cancer one year, with coloring books - www.crayonsforcancer.org

They come in a ton of different shapes - really cute!! and the proceeds go to children with cancer.

Last year, I got books from target - like 2.00 each, tied a baloon on them and bubbles and called it a day.  I wrote the kids names on the balloons.

One year I did sippy cups (when Brandon was at sippy cup age) and wrote the kids names on the cups in cute bubbly letters (same year that I did the crayons with cancer)

Last year for brandon we did a crayon box from the dollar spot - and filled them with dollar spot character markers (if they still have them, it might work for you because tink is on the markers!!)  They also have toy story.

This year I got lazy and did one bouncy ball, glow stick glasses, a few pieces of candy, and a bendy/crazy straw.

That's a cute idea. M got a bandana and eye patch as part of a pirate themed party and he loves dressing up like "Jake"

  • I am not creative at all so I'm just flagging this for when I need ideas!

  • If you want a good craft / favor (all in one), google sew plain jane. She sells these super hero cape kits - no sewing involved - just stick on felt decals.
  • for my ds's bday last year, we did the following favors: a kickball wrapped with cellophane and tied at the top w/a jump rope. i got the idea from someone here actually. they were a huge hit. we had kids of all ages (1 to 10) and i wanted 1 thing that all of them would like/use. the best deal on the kickballs i got from a company called s&s worldwide (online). they ship them deflated and then you just have to inflate them). the jumpropes came from oriental trading. it was actually pretty inexpensive maybe they came to $4 each. (I also made little tags that said Nicholas' 3rd birthday that were attached).
  • I usually just do cookie favors.

Molly had a tinkerbelle party this summer and I gave out these:

http://www.etsy.com/transaction/54493626  (she will make them any color you want)  She was great to work with.

and because I'm crazy, I also got these for the boys:

    http://www.etsy.com/transaction/54493706

There was a whole bunch of other things, too, but I didn't pay for entertainment so I bought fairy wings and wands for the girls and pirate stuff for the boys.
