What should I put in my valentine's day treat boxes?
I am doing some treat boxes for some family and friends for Valentine's Day- I don't have a lot of baking skills or energy lately but here is what I was thinking:
Chocolate chip cookies
Dipped pretzels with colored sprinkles
What else? There are four little squares in my Wilton treat boxes that will hold about 4 cookies in each square or a handful of pretzels, but I"m not sure they are deep enough for a cupcake...
I think I am making 6 or so boxes.
Re: What should I put in my valentine's day treat boxes?
Could you do cake pops, or cake balls if the sticks won't fit? You could shape them like hearts. I made some strawberry ones for last night, and am going to make some shaped as hearts for E to take to daycare for Valentine's Day.
Here are some cute Vday treats I've found on pinterest:

cake balls are really easy you might have to put them in the fridge for a bit of that time though because of the cream cheese?
What about puppy chow in a little valentine ziploc, I dominate puppy chow!! White fudge with something red in it? candies of some sort?
They are very easy. I used a box cake mix and store bought frosting so I didn't have to worry about cream cheese and keeping them refrigerated.
You just bake a cake and crumble it up once it's cooled. I add 1/2 a can of frosting, stir it all up. Shape them into balls and either put them in the freezer for an hour, or the fridge overnight. Melt chocolate - I use the melting disks you can get at Hobby Lobby or Wal-Mart. If you are just making cake balls, you can dip them in on a spoon, then set them on wax paper. They would be kind of like truffles. I *may* have eaten 3 of our cake pops this morning, they are delicious!
Urghh sorry!! You are totally correct in using store bought frosting, I was thinking of oreo balls and keeping them in fridge!! SORRY~way easier to make and keep than I was thinking!
I'm doing these amongst some cookies and one other thing.

These would be easy...you could get a heart cookie cutter to cut them out.

I was going to make them using a cream cheese frosting, then at the last minute thought about the whole refrigeration part, no worries!
